A Gnomy Christmas

Good morning and a very happy Thursday!

Today I'm sharing the second of my Christmas cards made for our Christmas In July challenge at Lost Coast Designs.

I started by making the layers for my background using patterned papers.

This gnomey Santa is so cute, and I would be lost without my misc words stamp.

I've added lots of snow and glitter. If you can't use glitter for Christmas when can you!

These are my lovely stamps, and they can be found here;

There's still time to join in with us over on the portal, so please get stamping!

Have a wonderful day, and thanks so much for looking x

A Tripple Point Card For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Can you believe how hot it was this week? My craft room is the conservatory so it's definitely been a no-go area. Luckily I made this card before I went away.

I've made this using papers from the Votes 4 Women and the My Family Tree Romantique collections which can be found here in the store.

A Relatively Thoughtful Birthday Card

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a birthday card that I made with a variety of Relatively Thoughtful collections.

I love to paper weave but I can never quite remember how to do it lol. It's a lot easier now that I've bought a die to cut the strips for me!

I've had this die in my stash for years and years, and I thought it looked really pretty dressed in these Jane papers.

I've used papers from the Votes For Women, The Family Tree, and My Dearest Jane collections and they can all be found here.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

Hark The Herald Angels Sing

Good morning and a very happy Friday.

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for the Lost Coast Designs 'Christmas In July' challenge.

I started by making an alcohol ink background on yupo paper, but then I've proceeded to cover it all up!

There's also torn vellum, kraft card, and die cut music paper in the background.

I think this stamp is beautiful! I stamped it in full in blue for the background, and then again in brown for the angelic trio.

The lovely stamps can be found here

A Travel Album For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today I'm back at Country View Towers with the second of my travel projects. This time I'm sharing the inside of my travel album.

Again I've used the lovely Stamperia Around The World papers for my waterfalls.

I sketched out my page maps with all my measurements, and I'm really glad with how it turned out.

I really love the Stamperia images! There's enough room for 32 6x4 photos, so I've no excuse not to get some printed out.

I've even managed to use up some washi tape, so that's a win!

I keep flipping between which of these two is my favourite side.

And just in case you've forgotten, this is what the front of the album looks like.

All things Stamperia can be found here in the store.

Have a very happy day, and thanks so much for looking x

Imagine!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a card that I made with the Relatively Thoughtful fabulous Halloween collection.

I've added some stencilling to the front panel and a little bit of stamping.

Don't these papers look gorgeous together!

Although it's the Halloween collection I think these are very pretty colours - Halloween doesn't have to be scary lol.

You can find the collection here

I hope you have a lovely day, I'm in Rhodes celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary.

Take care and have a lovely day whatever you are doing xx

A Blue Christmas

Good morning and a very happy Sunday.  Today I'm sharing another little album that I made with the fabulous 'The Magic Of Childhood' papers from Relatively Thoughtful. This time I've used the blue papers, and as they were simply screaming 'Christmas' at me, I've added some of the Christmas Postcards to show where photos could be placed (or you could just leave it blank to look at the pretty papers lol)

There's lots of room inside for photos, including pockets.

And more space and pockets on the back too!

These are my two albums together.

And of course, they both fit in the box!

The collection is available here.

Made For Each Other!

Good morning and a very happy Saturday! We have a fun new challenge over at Lost Coast Designs, and we would like you to Celebrate It! Think birthdays, anniversaries, you get the picture. I'm always a bit last minute when it comes to anniversary cards, so I thought that I would get one made in advance.

Ok, maybe it's not your traditional anniversary card, but I think I can guarantee that they won't get two the same!

I started by raiding my Halloween paper stash, and made my background. My apologies for this photo I didn't realise how bad it was 'till I had (thankfully) covered it up.

Next I cut my layers. I only had one sheet of each so a lot of 'gutting' went on.

And here's my happy couple, all dressed up for Date Night!

I stamped and printed my sentiments. I always print more than one, and in different sizes just in case I

a) totally mess it up or

b) cut it out, matt it perfectly, and then lose it!

I've used

I hope you like my card and join in with our fun challenge - we all need something to celebrate.

Have a very happy weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

It's Travel Time For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Friday! As always, the 1st of the month is a new challenge day at Country View Crafts, and today the lovely Craftyfield has chosen Travel.

I don't know about you, but I always take lots of photos on holiday, and then they sit on my phone forever. To combat this, I've made myself a travel photo album all ready for our return. There are lots of apps to have photos printed and sent from your phone, so I've no excuse lol.

I've had these beautiful Stamperia Around The World papers in my stash for ages. I got them when I first started to make mini albums, and I thought a 10-page pad would make a project with pages to spare! Mmmn that didn't quite work out lol.

Anyway, this measures 8.25 x 7.25 so is just right for 6x4 photos.

And this is the back. There's an envelope from the cut-apart page which I've used as a pocket to hold a couple of the tags.

I've turned the whole front page into a shaker. I know- I'm such a child lol.
All things Stamperia can be found here
I hope you join in with our fun challenge. Please remember to check out the rules on the challenge site.
I'll be back later in the month with the inside of my album so I hope to see you then
Have a lovely weekend, and thanks so much for looking x
