RT Designer's Challenge Winter and Spring

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm really happy to be sharing my Winter and Spring pages from my Graphic 45 album.

I chose the interactive ring-bound album for the designer's challenge, along with the Season to Celebrate collection.

This is my first page. I wanted to start with the photo's straight away, so my first one will be in January. This means that there are 2 Winter seasons in the album, one at the front, and one at the back.

This page is also a pocket page, with room for a 3x4 photo. The flap opposite has room for a 6x4 photo.

And this is the page opened out. As you can see there's space for a 5x7 photo, and lots more space in the pocket.

This is another flip page that lives at the back of the album. Room for 2 3x4 photos and a 5x7.

This is the final page and the back cover. Again space for loads of photos.

Next come my spring pages. The same format of pages just follows through. The back of Winter is done in Spring colours so that there is a double page layout.

This time we have space for a 4x4 photo and a 7x5.

This is the page opened out. I think the journal cards and chipboard ephemera look beautiful here.

Here's another flip page with a pocket added.

The last of the Spring pages has spaces for 2 7x5 and a 6x4 photo.

Everything in these pages can be found here in Sally's store.

I hope you like what I've done with the album so far, and I'll be back next month to show you my Summer and Autumn pages x

A Box of Lushness

Good morning and happy Friday. The January challenge over at Graphic 45 is to make or upcycle a box. There's a fabulous tutorial over on the blog which I've based mine on.

I started with a Christmas's box of Lush bath bombs. It's the usual thing, I love these so instead of using them I just keep them in the box and lift the lid to sniff them occasionally. This one is now over a year old but still smells gorgeous.

First of all I put architape around all the edges

Then I chose my papers. I have some really old ones from Steapmpunk Debutant,  Steampunk Spells, and Le Cirque.

Here's the box all covered.

I've put both sides of the paper around the edges.

 This is the easel part.

I've used a piece of chipboard from the Imagine collection as my stopper.

And this is around the back. Again I've used an Imagine ephemera card.
And I've put some of my recent photographs on from our last trip away and our furry grandbaby.

This was the first time I've attempted anything like this and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't have even tried though without the fab tutorial over on the G45 blog.

Have a very happy weekend, and thanks so much for looking xx
