No not the 3 wise men, but these gorgeous Art Journey stamps. It's the first set I've bought from there but I would love some more (damn you spending ban!!) lol.
The challenge this month is embossing powder. I've created my background with distress inks onto a piece of stampboard. I'd forgotten how wonderful this is to stamp on. The barbed wire stamp has been embossed with That Special Touch of Metal copper embossing powder and WOW this is just like liquid metal - love it!
See how I've underlined the 'friends' at the bottom - how lucky was that! :o)
Check out the challenge blog for inspiration and the chance to win a $10.00 (that's Euro's but I can't find that key - does a keyboard have a Euro key??) gift certificate.
Thanks very much for looking x

Graphicus Challenge Plum & Gold
I'm a big fan of Glenda, and her products, so when I saw that she had a challenge, I thought I would give it a go. This months was plum and gold, with a celebration theme. I have used Elusive Images All of a Twitter stamps. This is the first time they have come out of the packet, but they stamped beautifully. The 'celebration' stamp is from Hot off the Press. I've had another go with Stampboard - it's not the most 'artsy' of designs but I quite like it. The card is a lovely plummy colour in real life, but as we've had no sunshine for two days I had to photograph it under my craft lamp. If I ever see a fuchia challenge I shall re-enter it in that too lol.
