A Swing Card For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a card made with the Jane Austen Spring Collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

I love these blues and think that they look really nice with the fussy cut elements.

The collection is available here.

Have a very happy day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

The Serious Moonlight

Good morning and a very happy Friday, it's nearly the weekend again! For my second project for Lost Coast's Under The Sea challenge, I've made a giant tag.

I started by making a gelli print background using my new Lavinia ink pads and Brusho's. The inks are wonderful, so juicy, I now need a full set lol.

I cut my tag using a die from a slimline card set. Then I stamped the bubbles border and embossed it in white.

I thought it looked nice, but a bit too clean so I decided to grunge it up a little. I dripped and sprayed some paints and dried off with my heat gun.

I liked it a lot better, but I really wished that I'd stamped the bubbles lengthways, so I started all over again lol. I used the spare one to die cut my moon and stars.

Next I stamped and cut out my Doodle Seahorses.

I love the way the paints have dripped and run.
These are my lovely stamps. I've used

I hope you like it and that you join in with us for the chance to win some Lost Coast $'s.
Take care and have a very happy weekend x

It's Sing Along Time!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday!

It's time for a new challenge over at Lost Coast Designs, and this time around we are going Under The Sea!

No prizes for guessing where my inspiration came from. I don't think that I would be exaggerating if I said that I'd seen this film at least a hundred times!

Here are my lovely stamps! I've used

Spikey Fish

Anchor Fish

Large Doodle Seahorse

Fish and Heart Set

Well I hope you are all singing along now - you're welcome!

Please join in with us and show us your Under The Sea creations - it doesn't have to include a song lol.

Take care and enjoy your weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

A File Folder For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a file folder that I made using the Relatively Thoughtful Jane Austen in Spring Collection.

This started life as an Amazon packaging wallet. I'm sure we all have plenty of these (or is it just me that hoards things that may 'come in useful one day')

I couldn't resist making the lovely Jane into a shaker!

I decorated the back too with a sheet of the designer paper and some of the cut-apart elements.

I love these cameos!

More cut-apart images and sentiments.

I've made it slightly bigger than A4, so everything fits in easily to keep it safe and in one place. Another plus is that I can keep all my scraps inside (though those under an inch square I really should throw away lol).

The full collection can be found here

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

BIG Cats for Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. Today I'm sharing my second card for the Country View Crafts 'Cats & Dogs' challenge. No one said that the cats needed to be little ones, so I've gone for the Stamporia Savana big cats!

Aren't these papers just gorgeous!

This is the inside with more of the lovely cats. The zebra are also a favourite of mine.

I've used a Katzelkraft stamp to add the Happy Birthday sentiment.

And somewhere to add the sentiment at the back.

There's a great range of Stamperia products here, and Katzelkraft here.

I hope that you like it, and that you join in with our challenge. Take care and have a very happy week whatever you are doing x

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing the first of my Relatively Thoughtful projects made with the lovely Jane Austen Spring Collection.

I've used some of the cut-apart sheets to make the embellishments.

And there's also a sheet full of lovely sentiments.

Take care and have a wonderful day whatever you are doing x

She Made Broken Look Beautiful

Good morning and a very happy Friday. Today I'm over on the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity with my journal pages for our Strong Women challenge.

I started by cutting my pages from smooth card and stamping with the Flowers background stamp. It's such a beautiful stamp even before it's coloured.

I used my Tim Holtz distress pens to colour them in.

Frida has also been coloured with Distress pens. I love this sentiment and think it fits in perfectly with Frida and our challenge.

And these are my lovely stamps. I've used

Frida 1

Flowers   and

Carmen's Veranda Broken sentiment.

I hope you like her, and join in with our challenge. Remember there are Lost Coast $'s to be won so be sure to link up!

Have a very happy weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

Felicidad!

Good afternoon, I hope you are enjoying your Sunday. This afternoon I'm sharing a card made with the beautiful and bright Felicidad collection.

Aren't these papers gorgeous, so vibrant and colourful.

There are some lovely cut-apart sheets too for embellishments.

There's plenty of room inside for a stamped sentiment.

Such happy colours!

The collection can be found here in Sally's store.

Take care and enjoy the rest of your afternoon x

A Kitty Birthday Card For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today is new challenge day over at Country View Crafts, and the lovely Rachel has chosen Cats and Dogs. I'm very much a cat person (who also loves dogs), so this challenge is right up my street. This is the birthday card that I made for my mum, who is also a cat person. My dad is a dog lover, so of course my cats used to love my dad and completely ignore mum - that's cats for you!

I started by making a background on my gelli plate with my new Lavinia inks and some Brushos.

This is the first time that I've used the Elements inks and they're my new favourites! They are so juicy.

While I had my brushos out I thought that I might as well make my second background, so I just spattered away, drying each colour before spattering the next.

All of the stamps are by Katzelkraft.

You will find an excellent range of Katzelkraft stamps here.

And all things Lavinia here.

I hope you join in with our fun challenge - what's not to love about cats and dogs! Just make sure that your projects feature cats and/or dogs, and link up for your chance to win a £20.00 gift voucher to spend in the shop.

Take care and have a very happy May xx
