...till Christmas!!
I've been having another attempt at tartan with my Moonshadow inks, this time using shades of blue and purple together with Long John Silver lol. (I just love this name)
It's really hard to take a photograph because of the lovely gleam. I put some of the Long John Silver in a mister, and sprayed through a Dylusion stencil, then went over the top of it with some ferro.
Now it was time for the bling! Tim Holtz snowflakes stamped and embossed with Frantage embossing powders, enamels and glass glitter.
The Tim Holtz blueprint santa was stamped directly onto the card, and the snowflake brad was given the Frantage treatment.
The Moonshadow inks and everything Frantage can be found at The Stamp Man.
I'm entering this into the following challenges
Fun with ATC's - Embossing and
ATC's With Attitude - anything goes
Thanks very much for looking x

A Twinchie Christmas
The challenge this time around as Show Us Your Twinchies is to use traditional Christmas colours.
I've just received some Moonshadow inks from The Stamp Man and so had to have a play. I started by making my own tartan by using reds, greens and gold (these have the most amazing names like bucket o' blood red lol). Then I painted a piece of card in Long John Silver, and stamped the snowmen and the snow from Snowy Christmas.
The second one has the same Long John Silver background, and I stamped and embossed a text stamp in red tinsel embossing powder.
Rob the Robin has been stamped onto acetate and coloured in with marker pens, then embossed with my latest favourite kaleidoscope embossing powder.
These were great fun to make and I will definitely make the tartan again in different colours.
Thanks very much for looking x
