A Photo Card For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Friday! Today I'm sharing a  photo card that I made with the beautiful Relatively Thoughtful TC Forest collection.

This is the front. I've put the title on, so we HAVE to camp this year lol.

It's a top folding card, and this is how it looks when you lift the flap. I've added magnets to the photo mats so that they stay closed.

The photo mounts are 6.25 x 4.25 so just right for 6x4 photos.

And this is how it looks with some photos added.

There's also loads of room on the back for photos.

This is the collection, and is available here.

Have a great weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

A Waterfall Album for Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! I'm on my way to Blackpool, but with the wonders of technology, I can still share my latest project for Relatively Thoughtful using the beautiful TC Forest collection.

I've made an album that's just the right size for holding some 6x4 photos.

I've cut into the paper and put a magnet on the album, the leaf, and the tree. Now I can tuck a photo in and it stays in place.

This is the inside with the waterfall all tied up. The pocket is a page from the collection, and again there are loads of tuck spots.
I made the waterfall slightly over 6x4, so perfect for photos.
Here's everyone's favourite pooch! These were taken in the Lake District in 2019, and I can't wait to go back.

And this is the back. Again I've cut into the paper and added magnets to make tuck spots for photos and the journaling cards from the cut-apart sheets.

This is the lovely collection, and it's available here.

Take care, have a lovely Sunday, and thanks so much for looking x

A Crown Is Merely A Hat!

Good morning and a very happy Friday! Today I'm back with my second project for the Lost Coast Designs fun "Hats" challenge.

I started by making a background with my gelli plate using paints and stencills.

Then I added a little bit more stencilling with stronger colours.
Of course you can't have a "hats" challenge without hats, so I've stamped and embossed a few from the Party Hats 2 plate.

I've used Princess of Everything for my focal image, and coloured her with Distress pens.

The quote is by Frederick The Great - well I didn't know that!

These are my lovely stamps, just 2 really. I've used

I hope you like it, and that you join in with us over on the portal. Have a very happy weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

Twist 'n' Pop Card and Envelope

Good morning and a very happy Easter Sunday. Today I'm sharing my first project with the new TC Forest collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

These papers are beautiful, so vibrant!

There are so many beautiful backgrounds and fussy cutting sheets.

And this is the inside of my Twist and Pop card. All of the tags and journal cards are from the sentiment sheets.

The printable collection is available here.

Have a very happy weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

Pick A Card, Any Card...

Good morning and a very happy Friday! As always the 15th of the month means a new challenge over on the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity, and today it's all about the hats!

I started by choosing one of my giant playing cards. I used the joker 'cos I thought that fitted in really well with my Fortuneteller.
Then I used the Diamonds Border stamp to make strips for the edges. I didn't want to stamp directly onto the cards 'cos they are so glossy (and slippy)
Then I stamped and cut out Perspective Floor, Fortune Teller, and a jester's hat from Party Hats 2. The Joker from Batman used to say "Pick a card any card" so I thought that would do nicely for my quote.
These are my lovely stamps, and they are all from Lost Coast.

Have a very happy weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking xx

What's That Coming Over The Hill...

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely weekend! I'm back with the second of my projects for the Country View Crafts Spring challenge.

As usual, this is a combination of some of my oldest stash with some of my newest.

I started by brayering my background with some Amsterdam paints. I guess I should have cleaned my brayer better before I started lol.

Then I added some stencilling and foliage with the end of my paintbrush (which I then dropped hence the "red sky in the morning"

I've had these Tim Holtz dies for years and they've never been out of the packet, so it was quite a shock to see that the hand was cut into the card rather than cutting it out!

I LOVE my new Sam Poole alpha dies. They're the perfect size.

And what's not to love about these grumpy sheep!

My favourite uncle is 75 this year, so guess which card he's getting lol.

Susan has a great range of Tim Holtz goodies here, and Sam Poole here.

Have a very happy day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

A Double Fold Easter Card

Good morning and a very happy weekend. Today is Palm Sunday, and here is the last of my Easter cards made with the beautiful Happy Easter collection by Relatively Thoughtful.

All of the papers and fussy cutting sheets just work so beautifully together.

This is the card opened up.

And opened up again to show my favourite grumpy bunny and his friend.

An Acetate Card for Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday. I'm back in the card making mood for my Relatively Thoughtful piece this week.

Yes, it's my favourite grumpy bunny back for an acetate panel card.
Acetate is the hardest thing in the world to photograph isn't it, but this is how the card looks when it's opened up.

I've fussy cut my bunny and matted it onto some black card to make my topper.

S is For Snarky Sentiments for Lost Coast Designs

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a great weekend! Today I'm over at Lost Coast Designs with my piece for our fun new 'S is for..' challenge. Isn't it strange how your mind goes blank when you're given a specific challenge, but I finally came up with Snarky/Sarcastic Sentiments (my favourite kind!)

I actually knew just how I wanted my card to look (which is very rare for me - I usually just wing it as I go along). So, to start with I just laid it all out, then took this photo so that I could put everything in the right place on my stamping platform.

And it worked, woo-hoo! I'd stamped it in red, but then decided that I would prefer it all in black. Luckily I'd left all the stamps in place so I just cut another piece of card the same size and stamped again.

Look at this face, what's not to love. He may not be a hairless cat, but he doesn't mind pretending to be!

This is his sentiment, it always reminds me of Mrs Whiskerton, the hairless cat that Rachel had in Friends.

These are my fun stamps Enervy is from a range of Katzelkraft stamps that are sold through Lost Coast Designs. All of the sentiments are by Carmen's Veranda.

Enervy (Coffee Chihuahua)

Decaf Coffee

Power Of Coffee

My Greatest Accomplishment

My Coffee

Weird Bright Light

Bottom of Wine Bottle

I hope you like my card (I definitely do 'cos it's a 'man' card made for the box!)

Take care, and have a very happy week whatever you are doing x
