Do You Know What It Is Yet...

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today it's day 24 of the Lost Coast Designs 31 Days of Halloween challenge, and I can finally show you what I've been making. But first, here are my last 2 panels.

It's just not Halloween without Edgar is it?

And here's his favourite bird, the raven.

This is what I've used today

Lost Coast

Agregate

Goth Raven    and

Carmen's Veranda

Edgar Allan Poe

Skulls and Bones Background

Nevermore

And this is what I've been making.

It's a Flip Flap book! This is the inside.

And this is the reverse. Of course some pieces have to be upside down because of the flips.

With the top and bottom folded in.

With the sides folded in.

And with my Shakey shaker on the front when it's all folded in.

This has been such fun to make, and I hope you like it. Please keep popping over to the portal for more inspiration every day this month.

Enjoy what's left of your weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

Boo!

Good morning and a very happy Thursday! Today I'm over across at Country View Crafts Towers with my trio of Rolodex cards for our Autumnal Colours/ Halloween challenge.

I started by inking up some cards and stencilling through  Tim Holtz stencills.

Don't you just love these Halloween cats!

I don't really 'do' Halloween, but there is just something about these stamps that make me smile.

You can find everything Tim Holtz here in the store.
I hope you like them, and that you join in with our challenge.
Take care, and thanks so much for looking x

Bite Me!

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a great weekend. So it's day 18 of the 31 Days of Halloween over at the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity, and I'm back over there with some more fun and spooky creations.

Evil Eye has a bit of an attitude problem!

Whereas the Dancing Skeletons are much more cheerful!

I'll soon be able to show you what I'm doing with all of these panels, but not just yet!

Today's stamps are

Lost Coast

Dancing Skeletons

Evil Eye

Old Typewriter Alpha

Spray Webbing

Drips   and

Carmen's Veranda

Witches Go Riding

For more Halloween inspiration don't forget to visit the Portal as there's a new post there every day throughout October.

Thanks very much for looking, and may the spook be with you! x

They Did The Mash

Good morning and a very happy Friday! Wow we are half way through October already, it will soon be Christmas. But.... before Christmas, comes Halloween!

My favourite ever Halloween song is "Monster Mash" by Bobby (Boris) Pickett and this is my Katzelkraft tag book page homage to it for Ink Art Designs.

I started by inking some tags in Halloween colours, then just stamped and cut out my crazy characters. The lyrics to the song were printed on the computer.

These stamps are such fun! I've used The Humanoids, The Bandelettes, and Sherlock. Dot has a fabulous range of Katzelkraft stamps here in the store.
I hope you like them, and that you join in with our challenge.
Thanks so much for looking, and have a very happy and spooky day! xx

Still Waiting For Mr Right

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. Well we're zooming through our 31 Days of Halloween challenge over at Lost Coast Designs, and I'm back today with my third set of panels.

This was one of my very first Lost Coast stamps. It's actually the Early Stitch 'n' Bitch, but with the help of a post-it note and a black pen, it's now 'Witch'

I don't know why these ladies are hanging around waiting for him, but you have to admire their commitment!

It seems to be all about the old ladies today, maybe it's because it's my birthday!

Today I've used

Lost Coast

Early Stitch 'n' Bitch

Waiting For Mr. Right

Dancing Skeletons  and

Carmen's Veranda

Cracked Mirror

Have you joined in with our fun challenge yet - if not please do!

Have a very happy (& spooky) day, and thanks so much for looking x

Los Tres Caballeros

Good morning and a very happy Thursday. Today I'm back with my second pieces for the Lost Coast Designs 31 Days of Halloween challenge.

You can't beat a good head swap can you, though I'm not sure that the guy in the middle is convinced!

Ok, so equal with a head swap is a shaky shaky shaker!

This time I've used

Lost Coast

Skull Flourish (again) but why wouldn't you?

Skeleton and Roses

Tres Cabelleros     and

Carmen's Veranda

Skulls & Bones Background

I hope you're enjoying the inspiration over on the portal. Remember there will be new posts every day throughout October.

Take care and have a spooky day! x

A Mini Book For Ink Art Designs

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. Last month I took part in a Marjie Kemper online course. It was for an hour a day for 5-days, and we made a very colourful mini album. I've taken Marjie's online classes before and absolutely loved them, and this one was no exception.

All of the stamps used are by Stampotique, and Dot has a wonderful selection of these here in the store.

This is a very photo-heavy post, so I'll keep the words to a minimum. There's also a flip through video at the end - I apologise in advance as I'm no film-maker lol.

This is the front cover.

The pages get smaller as you go into it.

These are the smallest ones

Then they start to get bigger again.

The smaller stamps are some of my favourites, and I love how they fill the small pages.

This happy couple is my favourite favourite.
And the back cover.

And here is the walkthrough video.

This was such fun to make (though it took me waaaaaay more than an hour a day, but that's 'cos I was enjoying myself far too much to walk away)

Have a very happy day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

I See Dead People....

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm over at the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity with my first piece for our 31 Days of Halloween challenge.

I have a bit of a theme running through this year, as all of my pieces are just under 5x5 inches square.

He's such a cutie isn't he lol.

These are the stamps that I've used.

Lost Coast

Cheshire Cat

Skull Flourish

I've also used the Old Typewriter Alphabet but for some reason, I've forgotten to put this on my photo (or did I, bwahahahahaha!)

Carmen's Veranda

Ouiji Board

Smell Cake

I'll be back in a few days with my second piece, but in the meantime please pop across to the portal and see all the inspiration that my teamies are creating, and then join in yourself!

Have a very happy (and spooky) day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

Autumnal Colours/Halloween For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Friday. Now I'm not saying that this year is galloping by, but it's October already!!! A few more weeks and I'll be doing my Christmas countdown! We are launching a new challenge today over at Country View Crafts, and it's Autumnal Colours/Halloween. Here's my first piece.

I wanted to spell out Autumn, but my dies are too big to get all the letters on. I could have put 'Fall' but Autumn is Autumn to me, and fall is just something that I do, usually over my own feet!

I thought I was going to make a journal page so I stencilled a background. This is when I realised that my dies wouldn't fit, but I cut out my word anyway.

Then I stamped the letters with a text stamp to add a bit of interest, and then triple embossed them.

Next I cut a skinny card with a die set, and cut my word again from a piece of Craft Consortium card.

I don't know if you remember my journal page from last month, but I cut a LOT of leaves, and loads were left over so as if by magic we have leaves under the leaf.

I hope you like my card, and that you join in with the challenge. Please show us your Autumn colours.

Have a very happy day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x
