Tag Along

Good morning and a very happy Thursday - can you believe it's June already!! I know the older you get the quicker the year goes, but I think I must be a teenager throughout the 19 months of Winter, and then here we are in June.

Anyway, speaking of old, the new challenge over at Country View Crafts this month is 'Vintage', and here's my first piece. Look it stands up and everything, little things....

These stamps would qualify as vintage both in their style, and also in the length of time I've had them!

These were really easy to make, so I don't know why it took me all day, or why it looked like I'd been burgled afterwards - just lucky I guess! I started by inking my backgrounds with Distress Oxides - I really like the 'vintage' bright pink!

Then I just stamped with a similar coloured Wendi Vecci archival ink. I have 9 stamps so one had to go twice so I could stick 'em all back to back.

Here's the other side. Spot the brown tag with the blue ribbon - you can't have everything!

So over to you now, please join in with our challenge for a chance to win a £20.00 gift certificate to spend in the store.

Take care, have a very happy June, and thanks so much for looking x

  1. Happy June Wishes.
The colours of your tags and ribbons look good to me.

    All the best Jan

... I do hope my comments come through and stay!
Blogger seems to be messing about a little!

  2. You made me laugh Sue! I feel the same most of the time, having spent an afternoon pushing bits of paper about and getting nowhere whilst surrounded by heaps of stash!
Your mini-album is gorgeous (and stands up! Kudos..). Now I think I have some of these stamps somewhere.... x

  3. Wow, what an amazing make! The concertina design and the Vintage style with the stamps and colours are all so perfect - love it 😊. Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
