Good morning and a very happy Tuesday. I'm really pleased to be sharing my second piece for the Country View Crafts 'Sihouettes' challenge as this was such a fun piece to make.
There's nothing fancy about this at all, it's exactly what it says on the tin, but I like it.
I started by cutting my giant tags in black, red, and white. First of all, I had to find out where the stencil could go where the die would cut the least, then I used the Tim Holtz Falling Hearts main die to cut the white tag.
Next, I stencilled the Banksy girl in black gesso, and finally added the Dina sentiment, Simples! The balloon heart is also from the Falling Hearts set.
I hope that you like it, and that you join in with the challenge, as it really is a fun one.
Take care, have a great week, and thanks for looking xx
I love it, Sue!!! It's brilliant how you layered the tags!!! And it's perfect with only three colours!!! Have a lovely week!!! xx
ReplyDeleteFabulous tag, love all the details! Hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteHi Sue I love this and the way you've combined the different elements. I've got the Banksy girl as a stamp but not seen it as a stencil. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. Happy crafty week, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful tag! Loving the layers of red hearts and stitching that you added, it makes the perfect background for the pretty silhouette and wording 😁. Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
ReplyDeleteWell I very much like it too Sue! The white/red and black combo is striking but you've kept the design CAS so all the elements pop.
ReplyDeleteJust a great tag, simple but cleverly done and beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend Sue. Hugs xx
Beautiful tag, Sue! I love the color combo and the flying hearts are perfect for the girl stencil.
