Good morning and a very happy Friday. I'm really pleased to say that I've re-joined the Lost Coast Designs, design team. I knew that if I nagged and pleaded with them for long enough they would have me back ;-) It's a lovely DT and such a wonderful range of stamps, there's something for everyone, and it's real red rubber! Our first challenge of the year is Something Beginning With B, so here's my piece.
I started by making my background. I did my first one in full colour, but then decided that I would quite like it just in black, and there's the first B.
These are the stamps that I've used. You can tell that they've been very well-loved can't you! There's a (B)ackground. a (B)order, and the (B)ack of the couple.
For lots more inspiration please pop across to the Portal of Creativity. You still have another week to enter our fun challenge, just remember to focus on something beginning with B.
All of the stamps used can be found here at Lost Coast Designs.

Lucky you I adore Lost Coast and do have quite a few of their stamps. I've been resting from Design Teams for a while due to family issues but feel I might be ready to join in again soon if any one will have me Lol! Must pop over and have a look at what they're up to. Sending hugs, Angela xXx
ReplyDeleteI love this black and white card. great stamp combo
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great take on the challenge, black and white is always so striking! I am sure you did not have to nag too much and that they welcomed you back with open arms my talented friend! Keep safe and well. Hugs, Anne xxx
ReplyDeleteOh, that's great!
ReplyDeleteAt first, congratulations on joining the Lost Coast Designs DT again Sue!!!
And your card is really beautiful, original, and fits perfectly in several ways to the theme using 'B' as beginning indeed!
Hugs and happy crafting Sue. xx
Hi Sue, by all means use the postage stamp project, just one warning Lol! it becomes obsessive. I have old postage stamps in loads of boxes and tins and of course I've kept all the Christmas ones too. One of the things I like to do is to copy them and recolour them on the computer, you can have sheets of stamps any colour you like which I did with some Christmas stamps. Sending hugs, Angela xXx
