Trick Or Treat

 Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you've had a great weekend. Today I'm sharing my second 'Halloween make a scene' piece for this month's Country View Crafts challenge. 

Once again it was time to dig out my Tim Holtz dies, and remember a snow globe isn't just for Christmas!

And out from under the bed in the spare room came these! It's mad isn't it, I couldn't wait to buy these a few (maybe 10!!) years ago, but then I never used them.

Embossing folders anyone? I'm ashamed to say that this one has never been out of the packet. I really should use them more often and will try to do so in the future.

So after much cutting, embossing, and a ridiculous amount of faffing we have this! Although not a great fan of Halloween this does make me smile when I see it.

    Wonderful, spooky piece, I love it! Well done. I have been looking for my embossing folders and can't find them, but I haven't got a spare room or bed so don't now where to start! Have a wonderful week, hugs, Valerie

    I do like it very much, I love Halloween! The witch is one of my favourite dies and the paper you used on her is perfect. I too am guilty of not using my embossing folders - I must try better! Hugs, Anne xx

    What made me smile, Sue, is not so much your scene, although it is great fun, is that you too have an ancient stash of Core'dinations, unused embossing folders and called upon a Christmas die for your Halloween make! I did the same on my second CVC post... (also not a great fan of Halloween). x

    Great scene, Sue! I guess, we all have these goodies, we needed urgently and then never used them (what a shame). Good, you found them and used them in this great way!
