Anyone Who Had A Heart -Der Dum...

The very talented Liz Borer has been wowing us this week at PapteArtsy and I've been trying all week to have a go at her day 2 project. So after work yesterday I cleared the dining table and transformed the living room into an art studio daaarling (it's nose drippingly cold in the conservatory now so that's me out till Spring lol). This is what I ended up with.
Like football this was a game of 2 halves, the good and the bad/ugly.

I know I've said it before, but I do love how you can go over your mistakes with Fresco's and it just makes another layer.
Just about enough light now to photograph, and last push Charlie again to link up!
Hope you have a great Sunday, and thanks very much for looking x

  1. Really lovely Sue - agree about how easy it is cover up bits you don't like ! lol xx

  2. Wow. This is awesome. Fabulous heart. xx

  3. The treasure gold over the texture paste looks fantastic and the shape of your project is interesting. Love the embellishments too.

  4. I love the way you carry us through this make and how you explore how much you like it as you go along! It is great that Frescos will cover a multitude of sins if we want them to! It turned out to be a fabulous piece, full of warmth, colour and interest. Julie Ann xx

  5. never call them mistakes, they are merely artistic developments!!!

Totally love it, especially the hessian heart grouped into a flower.

  6. Beautiful... the rich colours are gorgeous with the gilding. And I'm so pleased I'm not the only one who sometimes has unintentional layers in my projects!!
    Alison xx

    Love Chrissie x

  8. Wow, Sue, this heart is so full of interest that I just couldn't stop looking at it. I kept discovering things I missed the last time! My favorite part? The quote! Love it all!
