The lovely Kaz has asked us to use 3 circles in our project today. Here's what she says.
I love using circles on things I make, as you may have noticed. If I get stuck for an idea, I generally start with a circle to help me out. I'd like you to use 3 circles on whatever you make this week. Just make sure you have fun!
I don't know if the recent sunshine has gone to my head, but I decided that it was a good idea to make a Christmas card!
The background is Abstract Foliage that's been stamped with Distress Inks over both layers. I've also used Jo's star, which came with Craft Stamper in the UK.
The Welcome Door has been stamped on Whitewash paper, and the first of my circles is Front Door Shrubbery, which has been done on shrink plastic.
My favourite snow man ever Global Warming? is circle number 2, and Owl Tree is number 3. This has been stamped on the card and an acetate overlay.
I've used part of Christmas Waves A Magic Wand for my sentiment, and all done. This will definitely have to be hand delivered 'cos Royal Mail would want a fortune to deliver this as it's more than a millimetre deep - bitter moi :-) Don't get me started on postal charges!
I really enjoyed making this, thank you Kaz for a great challenge.
You can play along too, just use three circles on your make and link up with us. You don't even need to use Stampotique stamps (but why wouldn't you).
Thanks very much for looking and have a great day x
Fabulous use of circles Sue. I love how his head has rolled away a bit! xx
ReplyDeleteYour card is delightful - change the sentiment and it can be used for Halloween too! Love that little bitty wreath!

ReplyDeleteGreat card though!!
Tee hee.. just brilliant use of the stamps (love all the owls up in the tree), and there's something about those red circles marking the spot of the decapitation that reminds me of crime scene ribbons, protecting the area - I love it!
