Have A Roaring Good Time

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a fun fold card made with the beautiful Art Deco 20's Style collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

The colours in this collection are just beautiful, and as always there are lots of papers, images, and cut-apart sheets (which is why my cards are always a little bit over the top lol) I'm very much a more is always more girl 😂.

I started by fussy cutting the images that I wanted to use.
Then I cut my layers and matted them onto some teal card to make them pop. With this type of card, you get to show off a lot of papers on all the surfaces.
This is the inside. I've also used one of my favourite Funky Fossil stamps and Versafine Clair inkpads as they match the papers perfectly.
And this is the inside of the inside! Yep, it's the gift that keeps on giving lol. These flowers are beautiful. At this point I decided that enough was enough.
This fun sentiment is a Sue Wilson die, and Sally has a great range of these in the store.
There are pages of these fabulous images in the collection.
This is me on any given Saturday night doing the big shop!
Me again when I'm putting the bins out!

And this is where you'll find the whole collection in various formats including 12x12.
As always there is new inspiration daily on our social pages, so please pop across and check them out.
Have a wonderful Sunday whatever you are doing (we are having our monthly trip to Blackpool so will be walking either North or South - definitely not toward the sea!) and thanks so much for looking x

Isn't She Lovely!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing one of my favourite things to make, which is a concertina card.

These are great when you have loads of images you want to use. You don't have to choose, you just use them all! These are all from the beautiful Relatively Thoughtful Art Deco Cutting Pages.
I started by cutting out all the images and trimming them to the same size. Then I die-cut mats for them all and stuck them down.
Don't you think this is the perfect thread for these lovely images?
All of these are now 4x4 so that makes it really easy to make the base card.
I need 1/8 of an inch all around the image, so the base card is cut (and stuck together) at 4 1/4 inches. It's then scored at 4 1/4, 8 1/2, 12 3/4, 17 inches, and then cut at 21 1/4. This gives me 5 sides, so room for 10 images.
These are my images all sewn down, but it still needs a little bit of something else.
This is a fabulous Funky Fosill sentiment stamp that I've embossed in gold. It's too big as it is, so I've chopped it up!
And added a little bit to each image.
And this is the other side! Again I've added stamped sentiments and images and a fabulous Sue Wilson die cut.
The stamping just finishes it off perfectly!
Isn't this a gorgeous die-cut?
And it all folds flat(ish) for postage.
These fabulous Art Deco Cutting Pages can be found here in the Relatively Thoughtful store.
And there is a great selection of Sue Wilson dies here too.

Have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking xx
