Devil Or Angel

Hi, I'm still on my holidays, but the magic of Blogger means that I can still join in with the fun challenges at Stampotique.
This week the fabulous Arwen has chosen the theme
Every stamper has a little Frankenstein in them. Give a stamp without wings a pair of them. Have fun creating!
Here's my chippie tag.
The background has been created with washi tape. I knew the hundreds of reels (slight exaggeration) would come in useful one day :-)
Karin has been stamped and coloured and cut out. I've given her some horns from Whisker Monster.
I love these amazing Angel Wings that Arwen has designed. They've been stamped and embossed in UTEE silver.
So there she is - Karin, naughty but nice (and just a little weird, but in a good way right)

Please join in with our challenge and release the inner Frankenstein. You could be the lucky winner of one of the $30 gift certificates.
Have a great week, and thanks very much for looking xx

WooHoo It's A Celebration

Greetings from sunny Spain :-) This week it's a real celebration as it's Stampotique's 200th challenge. Our lovely leader Kim has chosen our challenge.
Join us for our 200th challenge this week by celebrating. Create with celebration, anniversary or best wishes creation. We thank you all for joining us each week at our challenges and hope you have a much fun creating with Stampotique as we do!

My 'go to' stamp for any celebration has always been Fiesta I just love this donkey and his birdy friend.
Piggy squadron AKA Flying Pig are also dropping by to join in with the celebrations.
The scary part was stamping part of the Happy Anniversary stamp straight onto the card. This gets to me every time lol.
I hope you join in with our challenge and celebrate!
Thanks very much for looking x

Shimmer and Shine

Good Morning, and happy Wednesday. Today the lovely Kathi has chosen the theme for the latest Stampotique challenge. Here's what she has to say.
My spirit animal must be a magpie as I am attracted to all things that shine, shimmer, or glitter. My challenge for you is to create a project that literally shines!
If this had been the challenge a year ago I would have reached straight for the glitter pot, but I don't seem to be using it as much as I used to. This time I went for my shimmery paints.
I started with a layer of DecoArt black gesso, this is fab, one coat really is all that you need.
The shimmery paints are a combination of Pebeo, and Silks.
Skull Moon has been stamped onto black card, then painted in gold, silver and white.
Spiraling Out of Control, has been stamped in paint, and the stars from Design Cube have been embossed in white.
Girl With Heart Purse and Bowtie have been stamped and coloured with Silks, and I Feel Happy Inside seemed the right sentiment to finish it all off.
So that's another page done in my chippie album - only 3 left to go now!
Hope you join in with our challenge and release your inner magpie.
I'm also entering this into the That's Crafty challenge which is All That Glitters, and the Love2Create anything goes challenge.
I won't be around for the next couple of weeks 'cos I'll soon be off on my Summer holidays, but I promise to come visiting (via the computer - I'll not be knocking on you door) when I get back.
Thanks very much for looking and enjoy your week x

Fragile Glass

For the first time in ages I've been able to join in with Tim's 12 tags of 2015. Of course I don't have many of the 'ingredients' so there have been lots of substitutions.

I've used Distress sprays and inks for my background, then the TH  die and some old packaging for my bottle, and the sea horses and star fish are also TH dies that have been used on shrink plastic. I didn't know if the Rock Candy crackle would work on this, but yes it does :-)
My sea bed is made of tiny glass balls and shells.
The two layers of acetate have been sealed with metal tape and this has been rusted.
I really enjoyed making this, it was nice to make something just for fun.
Enjoy your weekend, and thanks very much for looking xx

What's Your Favourite Favourite?

Hi, it's Wednesday so time for another challenge at Stampotique Towers. This time Gez has done the choosing, and a real hard one it is too!
We've ALL got one! What's yours! We would love to see your favourite Stampotique images (if you can't pick one!) on your creations this week. Which stamp makes your heart skip a beat!
How hard is that, all may babies are my favourites, but I did pick one, (I'm whispering now so the others don't hear)
Don't you just love Kitten Sitting, it makes me smile every time I see it. I wanted to doodle a bit around the edges, but I can't draw, and I can't even doodle. I can't draw a straight line, but I can't draw a wonky/bent/curvy line either so I've doodled with the sewing machine. I can't sew in a straight line either - who knew lol.
I've teamed my favourite stamp with one of my favourite quotes too A Friends Touch - ooh look I can't stamp straight either :-)
I hope you can choose your favourite stamp and join in with our challenge (I promise not to tell your unchosen ones)
Enjoy your day, and thanks very much for looking x
