Good morning and happy Wednesday. There's a fun new challenge over on the PaperArtsy blog, and that is Artist Trading Coins. Here's mine.
These have been made using these Tracy Scott stamps, some London Bus Fresco paint, and a black china marker. This is my favourite red paint, as it's translucent so doesn't obliterate everything underneath it like my red Posca pen does (though this can be very useful at times)
I've made an anniversary card with the coins, using other stamps from the set, along with a Tim Holtz Shadow Script sentiment. I've made this card with a week to spare, and that's unheard of. BUT.... I haven't put an insert in yet, and I'm not fancying the walk to the Post Office today, so in my crystal ball I see a last minute dash, and the space time continuum has been restored!
Everything can be found at Country View Crafts, just click on the picture to be whisked away.
I'm also joining in with the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge, which is Stamp On It.
Have a wonderful day, and thanks very much for looking x
These 'coins' are certainly very trendy at the moment and I just love how you used them on your card and the stitching finishes your card off so beautifully! Love this! Hugs, Anne xx

This is a stampset I didn't had an idea what I should do with it, and than I see this...Love how you used them! Enjoy the weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove the new ATCoins! Great interpretation here, especially in RED!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fabulous, vibrant, happy card! And I love the way you incorporated the ATCoins! I had to laugh, too, at your post office comments. I am the queen at procrastinating going to the post office, so I was glad to see I'm not alone in my mad last-minute postal dashes! This was a true delight to see and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteReally adore this Sue, it's full of love (no pun intended) I bet this card just appeared as you sat happily creating using those fab stamps and favourite colours. Always gives a striking effect does that colour combo & you've executed it perfectly.
ReplyDeletePlease stop tempting me to click and visit CVC i'm trying not to buy anymore crafty stuff atm.. opps!!
Hugs for a super weekend Tracey xx
P.S Hope you managed to dodge the rain when posting x
Brilliant art coins! London bus is my favourite red too. The coins look really good on the card as well and the recipient is going to be really happy to get this one.
