Sparkle and Shine

Good evening and happy Saturday. I'm lucky enough to be guest designer this month for the Happy Little Stampers ATC challenge. This challenge this month is... drum roll please

Here's what I've made.

I started by making a gelli print background with lots of paint and stencils, the stamped with the Mix Mashed plate. I love these circles (I'm really into circles at the moment)
Then I made some shrink plastic flowers with the Doodled Flowers plate, and coloured them with Posca pens. I coloured them before I shrunk the plastic as I wanted the colour to be really intense.
The lovely sparkle is coming from DecoArt's Glamour Dust Paint. This is amazing stuff, it goes on so nicely then dries to an amazing sparkle.
And the words are Tim Holtz stickers - where would we be without his pearls of wisdom?

These were great fun to make, thank you so much Happy Little Stampers for having me.
Have a lovely day, and thanks very much for looking xx

The Noble Tree

Good morning and Happy Wednesday. Happy Little Stampers currently have an ATC challenge which is 'trees'. Here's mine.

I started with a watercolour background, and then stamped my PaperArtsy tree stamp from JOFY15. Mmm looks a little bare!

So I used 2 of the tiny stamps from the HLS Mix Mash to add some foliage.

And finished off with some paint spatters and sequins. I really enjoyed making this, so nice to get something started and finished in a day lol.
I'm also entering this into the Happy Little Stampers watercolour, and 'anything goes with HLS challenges, and PaperArtsy's ATC challenge.
Thanks very much for looking, and have a fun day x

Take Risks

Good afternoon and happy Tuesday. It's a really grey day here, warm but no sunshine at all - August eh! Happy Little Stampers have an ATC challenge running, and the theme this time is 'doodling' I love to see doodling, but the reason I have more than a few (waaaaay more unless Neil is looking) rubber stamps is that I can't draw, and I can't doodle at. all.! It's no use saying that everyone can draw, and it's only practice blah blah 'cos I really can't.  I did a well known 30 day course, and the difference between day 1 and day 30 was zip, zilch, nada,  noooo difference at all. I have a cup that my son bought for my birthday with a face on it that I drew on a course - you know when something is sooo bad that the tutor has to mutter and move on - well this stares at me every day as I eat my tea. I would show you but it would break the internet...
Anyway what's a challenge if not challenging, so here are my doodles (be grateful it's only ATC size :-)  )

Even Pic Monkey is having a laugh, it's telling me that my 'masterpiece has been saved' The lovely stamps are from AALL & Create, the doodles are all mine lol.
I'm also linking this to Simon Says Stamp Monday's ATC challenge.
Have a great week, and thanks very much for looking xx

Animal Instinct

Good morning and happy Sunday, I hope your weekend is going well (and not too quickly - we don't want that Monday morning feeling too soon) Happy Little Stampers have recently started an ATC challenge, and this month the theme is animals. Here's mine.

My handsome chap is made with stamps and stencils by AALL & Create and lots of ink and paint. I think I shall stick to just ATC's in future, it's so nice to start and finish something in the same day (week, month...) I don't know how there's still the same amount of mess though lol.
Have a wonderful Sunday, and thanks very much for looking x
