Love Lovely Life!

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. Today I'm over on the Ink Art Designs Stamping Playground with my Twist & Pop card.

I recently bought these lovely Crafty Individual papers. You know when you buy something and then wish you'd got at least a dozen, well that was me. Luckily I did get quite a few though so all's good.

This is the inside of my card. I was going to put a panel to write my sentiment on but then decided that these butterflies were far too nice to cover up.

And this is my twist and pop element on the front.

As everyone knows by now, I love my Alice Palace (Crafty Individuals) stamps.

I really like this washi tape stamp, just perfect for stamping in any colour.

I really enjoyed making this, not sure that I'm ready to give it away though lol.
Dot has got oodles of the Crafty Individuals stamps here in the store, so have a look around. Also please join in with our challenge for the chance to win a stamp of your choice. Just remember to use any stamp from the ranges that Dot sells in the store.

CHALLENGE RULES (only a few)
- You can only use Stampscapes, Art Journey,  Rubber Dance, Lavinia, Katzelkraft,  Lost Coast Designs, Art By Marlene, Dina Wakley, Riley & Co and Crafty Individuals stamps.
- Always an 'ANYTHING GOES' theme.

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

Live Lovely Life!

Good morning and happy Friday, I hope you are all safe and well in these very difficult times.
I'm over at the Ink Art Designs Stamping Playground today with my Alice Palace journal page.

I started by making a background in my large Art By Marlene journal with my prima watercolours.

Then I started stamping! All of the stamps are from the Alice Palace range at Crafty Individuals. I love these stamps, they are so quirky and unusual. I must admit I do chop them up as there are so many patterns and elements on each stamp, and I find I get much more use from them now.

The ducks have been stamped onto handmade paper, and everything has been coloured with watercolour pens.

I love the washi tape stamp in the background, it looks so realistic!

The tiny quote is taken from another of Alice's stamp sets.

Crafty Individuals stamps are available here in Dot's store, and don't forget, there's still time to enter her monthly challenge, with the chance to win stamps!

It's also Dot's first birthday, and she's having a mega give-away. If you click the picture you will be whisked away to the store where she has SO many goodies!
I'm entering my page into the Craft Stamper TIMI anything goes challenge for March, and also the
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, Whatever The Weather.

Thank you very much for looking, and stay safe x

Time To Take Over The World

Good morning and happy Wednesday. I'm back over at Ink Art Designs today with my second piece of the month, and I've decided that it's time to take over the world.

I started by die cutting a huge tag shape. This one is by Tonic. Then I coloured the background with Distress and Distress Oxide inks. The stars are from the Studio Light Art By Marlene range, and the words and orbs are from Lavinia

Then I added some Portfolio pastel dots through a stencil just to knock it back a little and add a bit more texture.

I stamped my handsome Alice Palace turtle for Crafty Individuals onto some scraps of gelli plate prints.

They look so determined and I'm sure they could take over the world. This fun quote is by Rubber Dance

Just click on the logo to be transported to Dot's store where you can find all of these stamps and more!

Have a very happy day, and thanks so much for looking x

A Bit of a Cutie

It's my Mum and Dad's wedding anniverasary at the end of this week, and so a card is needed. I looked at my skulls and zombies, but came up with this instead.

All the stamps are by Alice Palace for Crafty Individuals, and the backgrounds are made with Distress Ink and Distress Oxides. I only have four colours at the moment, and here they are.

Spiced Marmalade...
Worn Lipstick...

Broken China...

and Cracked Pistachio.

I know it's a bit mushy, but 58 years deserves a medal mushy card.
The Happy Anniversary has been typed on my old typewriter, and it's quite small - that'll get 'em reaching for their reading glasses mwhahahaha..... should have bought me a pony when I was little ;-)

I'm joining in the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge, which happens to be these colours. How lucky is that, and also the Craft Stamper Anything Goes challenge.

Thanks very much for looking, and have a fun day xx
