Wonderland Is Better

Good morning and a very happy Saturday!

Today I'm sharing my second project made for the Country View Crafts 'Tags' challenge.

I started with a chipboard tag and a sheet of the beautiful Stamperia Alice paper.

There are also Stamperia stamps to match the papers, so I stamped some red hearts and the tumbling words.

To finish I added some of the chipboard pieces so it's quite a chunky tag now!
All things Alice can be found here in the store.

Take care, have a very happy weekend, and thanks so much for looking x

Toxique!

Good morning and a very happy Saturday!

It's new challenge day over at Country View Crafts, and today my lovely teamie Miriam has chosen Halloween or Harvest as the theme. As always at this time of year I had to dig deeply into my stash but as usual Tim Holtz has come to my rescue!

Some of these supplies are nearly as old as me lol.

I made a very simple background with oranges and pinks/purples.

And this is my Tim Holtz stash. I may have had this embossing folder for years but I think it's the first time it's been out of its packaging! All things Sir Tim can be found here in Susan's store.
I hope you join in with our fun challenge for the chance to win a £20.00 gift certificate.
Have a very happy September, and thanks so much for looking x

Season Of Mists And Mellow Fruitfulness

Good morning and a very happy Thursday. It's time for a new challenge over at Country View Crafts, and this time Debs has chosen Season of Mists And Mellow Fruitfulness. Very poetic eh?

With this in mind, I've made a postcard using some mellow fruits!

I started by stamping the sunflower from the Katzelkraft Pumpkin Fields set and embossing it in white. Then I inked over with Distress Oxides and flicked, dried, and removed any excess ink.

Then I stamped and embossed the pumpkin pile, and some of the words.

To finish, I stamped and layered up the pumpkins and added some of the vine stamps.
I hope you join in with our fun challenge, and as always, there's a £20.00 gift certificate to be won.
Take care and have a very happy September xx

A Travel Album For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely weekend. Today I'm back at Country View Towers with the second of my travel projects. This time I'm sharing the inside of my travel album.

Again I've used the lovely Stamperia Around The World papers for my waterfalls.

I sketched out my page maps with all my measurements, and I'm really glad with how it turned out.

I really love the Stamperia images! There's enough room for 32 6x4 photos, so I've no excuse not to get some printed out.

I've even managed to use up some washi tape, so that's a win!

I keep flipping between which of these two is my favourite side.

And just in case you've forgotten, this is what the front of the album looks like.

All things Stamperia can be found here in the store.

Have a very happy day, and thanks so much for looking x

A Cosmos Album For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. It's a new challenge day over at Country View Crafts, and this month I'm hosting!

My challenge is Seeing Stars, and that can mean images, shapes, or in my case astronomy.

This is my Cosmos album. I've been following a fabulous. Scrap Queen tutorial. It's a large album measuring 10x8 and it uses 3 12x12 pads.

This is the inside cover. Aren't these papers beautiful?

My lovely wolf is from the Cosmos die cuts.

All things Stamporia can be found here in the store.

And the Scrap Queen here.

I hope you join in with our challenge, please remember that stars/astronomy must be the main focus. One tiny star in a sky will not count lol.

I'll be back in a couple of days with my second piece.

Have a very happy June, and thanks so much for looking x

BIG Cats for Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. Today I'm sharing my second card for the Country View Crafts 'Cats & Dogs' challenge. No one said that the cats needed to be little ones, so I've gone for the Stamporia Savana big cats!

Aren't these papers just gorgeous!

This is the inside with more of the lovely cats. The zebra are also a favourite of mine.

I've used a Katzelkraft stamp to add the Happy Birthday sentiment.

And somewhere to add the sentiment at the back.

There's a great range of Stamperia products here, and Katzelkraft here.

I hope that you like it, and that you join in with our challenge. Take care and have a very happy week whatever you are doing x

Bleeding My Own Blood For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Thursday. Today I'm over at Country View Towers with my second project for our Mother's Day challenge.

I really thought that I'd cracked it with this style of card, but pride goes before a fall so they say. It also goes before my card falling to pieces, and me sewing through my own finger as I tried to join it all together again!

I started by choosing my lovely papers. These are Stamperia Imagine in both 12x12 and 8x8.

This is how the card looks when it's closed.

And my trusty Mother's Day stamp has been stamped on a leftover scrap.

This is my favourite part. My lovely lady has been cut from the 12x12 pad, and the frame is a Tonic die. I even made a little charm!

I'm really happy with how this one turned out (eventually) and that I didn't bleed all over it!

Have a lovely day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

A Patchwork Christmas

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday. Today I'm back at Country View Crafts with my second project for our Christmas Gifting challenge. This time I've made some huge gift tags, which can then be used as bookmarks.

These have all been made from my wonderful Stamperia Christmas Patchwork goodies. I absolutely love these papers and stamps, and the chipboard is just beautiful! I bought the Make A Wish collection a couple of years ago. I thought that Stamperia had just re-named the collection as Christmas Patchwork but these are actually the papers from the 22 sheet collection that are not in the standard Make A Wish set. I'm really happy that there is now an 8x8 pad, and if there's suddenly an international shortage - well it might be me!

I Started by cutting some giant tags from my 8x8 pad and sponging the edges with Stamperia paint.

I stamped the sentiment from my old rubber stamp set. I think the updated version are clear stamps, but I'm sticking with these!

Then I just mounted the paper onto some thick black card, added an image from the chipboard pack, and stuck on a sentiment.

I love this Christmas tree.

But my favourite, is of course, the cat!
All things Stamporia Christmas Patchwork can be found here in the store.
I hope you like them, and that you join in with our challenge - please remember, no cards!
Have a very happy week, and thanks so much for looking x

Happy 100th To Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday. We have a fun new challenge over at Country View Crafts to celebrate our 100th challenge.

I've been lucky enough to be on the DT there since September 2014 and challenge No.19 which was 'A Nautical Theme' Here are my very first DT makes for the month back then.

While I was taking a walk down memory lane I checked out the first Country View challenge and was pleased to see that I was playing along there from the start. The challenge was Pick & Mix (anything goes)

Needless to say I still have every one of the stamps and dies that I used then.
I hope that you join in with our celebrations, there's always prizes to be won!
Take care, have a very happy month, and thanks so much for looking x

The Birds And The Bees

Good morning and a very happy Saturday, welcome to the weekend!. For my second Birds and the Bees piece for Country View Crafts I made an 80th birthday card for my Mum's birthday last month. We thought that she would be the only one not to have a lockdown birthday as she just managed to scrape in her celebrations in 2020 - who would have thought that lockdown would still be here in 2021!

This card was made using a Paul Ford tutorial, for which I am eternally grateful 'cos I had no idea what I was going to make until I saw it.

Aren't these Stamperia papers beautiful! I have a few pads that I got to make an album, so I can just about spare a few sheets lol.

I had to do quite a bit of cutting to get everything in the right place, but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

This is the front.

And the inside.

And the inside opened out.

I do love the colours on this pad, it's made me want to make the album now.

Please join in with our challenge and show us your birds and/or bees.

Take care and have a crafty weekend x
