Alice's Tea Party Part 3

Good morning and a very happy Sunday!

It's time for the third part of my Alice album using papers from Relatively Thoughtful, and a tutorial from Paul Lang-Ford. This time around it's the 2nd removable insert using papers from the Alice's Tea Party Floral collection.

It's made in exactly the same way as the first insert, so if you want more details please click here.

This is the more contemporary collection and has some amazing cut-apart sheets.

Again none of the ephemera has been stuck down as I will be putting photographs in first.

Again these are perfectly sized for full sized 6x4 photos.

Such beautiful images

And lots of room for photographs.

This is the back page which has 2 deep pockets.

These are the 2 inserts together - the same but very different!

And with the album cover.

This is how they look slotted into place.

All ready and waiting for my photos.

This massive collection can be found here in the store in both digital and paper formats.

Alice's Tea Party Part 2

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing the second part of my mini album made with the beautiful new Alice Vintage Charm collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

The fabulous thing about Sally's new collection is that there is so much to it! There are cut apart sheets, vintage collections, amazing florals, and all in such beautiful colours.
Again, following Paul Lang Ford's tutorial I decorated the base pages of the albums. As there are two separate sides to the album I thought it was perfect to have a vintage and a contemporary side.

These photo mats are 6.25 x 4.25 so are perfect for full size photographs.

Aren't these papers gorgeous?

On this fold-out page, there are loads of spaces for 6x4 photos.

And Paul gives you full instructions on making all of the pages.

This is the back page, there are two pockets here so lots of room for bits and bobs.
Now for the fun part - it's time to decorate. These are just some of the ephemera pieces cut from the cut-apart sheets. They are perfect for journaling in your album.

These aren't stuck down as I will be adding photographs first, and then I'll decide where I want everything to go.

I just love these vintage images!

This is the inside page fully opened out.

I love this triangle corner page.  There is a belly band on the opposite page, so room to store more photos.

And this is the back page. Again room for lots more photos and journalling tags.

This is how the insert looks inside the album cover.

The collection can be found here in both digital and paper formats.

Meet Alice

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm sharing a mini album made with the beautiful new Alice's Tea Party collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

I followed a tutorial by the fabulous Paul Lang Ford. It's the album he made for International Scrapbooking Day, and it has a twist in that the pages are detachable.

I started by making the album along with the two inserts. All of Paul's tutorials are free and so easy to follow. I'll put a link to his group at the end.

So, albums all built, and it's now time to start decorating.

This is the front cover. Isn't Alice a stunner? This has been cut from the collection's cover sheet.

I roughly cut the image out, then covered it with clear contact adhesive to give it a sheen and also help keep it clean as this album will definitely be used.

I also made a charm for the spine. It's very basic but I like it!

And it makes a lovely dingly dangly noise when you pick the album up!
I think it looks really cute!
The white rabbit has been cut from one of the many cut-apart sheets, and so has the sentiment.

This is the inside. The two hinges are where the inserts will sit.
I still have lots more decorating to do, but I love how it's coming along.

The collection can be found here in both digital and paper formats.

I hope you like it, and I'll see you in a couple of weeks to show you the decorated inserts.
Take care and have a very happy week x
