April's Rudolph Day

Good morning and happy Thursday. As always I'm scraping in by the skin of my teeth with my Christmas cards this month! It seems like the more time I have to go into my craft room the less I get done. But, I've been reading (real hard-backed books, not my kindle) and my isolation crocheted blanket is coming on really well so I'm happy.
As always the challenge at Rudolph Days is 'anything goes', and this month ABC's Christmas Challenge is H for hand-drawn (I don't think so!!!) and I for inside (phew that's better), so here are my cards.

These are all cards made mostly from kits that I've had in my stash for many (many) years! They are either Kanban or Hunky Dory kits bought when Dawn Bibby was on QVC! I loved them at the time, but after making a couple I would get bored 'cos my first love has always been rubber stamping, but I have these kits, and I'm not going to throw them away so I need to use 'em! To be honest, I could live till I'm 150 and I'd still not use them up as these kits are HUGE, but at least I've made a start!
I hope you have a happy day whatever you are doing, take care, and thanks so much for looking x

March Rudolph Day

Good afternoon and happy Saturday. I know I'm a bit late with this month's Rudolph Days Christmas card, but I can barely keep up with what day/week/month it is. It's only day 5 of lockdown here but I already feel out of touch with the rest of the world! BUT Christmas will still be coming Coronavirus or not, and this year I have NO excuse to not be ready.

I started by cutting my card with some of my favourite Tim Holtz dies - no-one does Christmas quite like Tim!

I've just received my new Studio Light stamps from Hochanda so it seemed like the perfect chance to ink them up. I also wanted something nice and glittery so I used my WOW embossing powders.

With just some more die cut deer and sentiments we are all finished, so that's 4 more for the box of cheer!
I'm entering these into the Rudolph Day's challenge,
The ABC Christmas challenge - I've done E for embossing, and G for gold, and
WOW embossing powder face-book group where the challenge is New To You.
Hopefully by Christmas life should be back to normal and we'll just be complaining about the weather!
Thanks so much for looking, take care, and stay safe x

Christmas Cats and Dogs

Good morning and happy Rudolf Day, just another 10 months to Christmas! In an attempt to be a little more organised than last Christmas, I've made a couple of cards.

I used a couple of my favourite stamp sets from Woodware and Hobby Art for these.

I'm entering them into the ABC Christmas challenge where the theme is cats and dogs, and also Rudolf Days where the theme is 'anything goes'

Have a very happy week, and thanks for looking x

January's Rudolf Day - Make A Wish

Good afternoon and happy Thursday. I know that Christmas has only just gone, but doesn't it seem like months ago already. As always it was very last minute for me despite saying 'never again, got to be more organised, bla bla bla'. I decided to make a couple of cards each month, but this month was a little busy, and we've been away, and I can always catch up next month, etc etc so I decided to skip January. Of course if I skip January, I'll also probably skip February, March, April...
So when I saw a Christmas card on Sally's blog I realised that I needed to get off the computer and get a Christmas card made, no excuses, so here it is!

I bought my lovely Stamperia stamps last December, but they never came out of their packet then, so I was really pleased to use them. I'm ashamed to say that I have stamps that have never been inked, but I know I'll use these a lot!
I have the papers too, but obviously they're just for stroking and drooling over - I couldn't possibly use them!

I've added lots of glitter to the rooves and some Glossy Accents for texture. My American spell checker doesn't like rooves, but roofs is just wrong!
I'm entering my card into the January's Rudolf Day and the ABC Christmas Challenge as both are 'anything goes' and also
Christmas at Sweet Stampin' where we are asked to Add Some Sparkle.
Well at least I've made a start, we'll have to see how long it lasts!
Have a lovely evening, and thanks so much for looking xx
