Can It Be Christmas Already!

No of course it isn't, but as I'm making these it's snowing, and it's flippin' freezing!
Good morning and happy Monday. Now everyone knows that I love Christmas, but I was more than happy to put my stash away late (very late) December. But it's nearly the end of January now, so I've opened the lid again, and made these for the Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge. The optional twist this month is CAS which I'm rubbish at, but I decided to give it a go.

I love these PaperArtsy stamps, they really did make me chuckle. I know exactly who will get the underwear card, and I should probably keep the chocolate one for myself.
Right, I'm going to go back to wishing for Spring now! Have a lovely week, and thanks very much for looking xx

Rudolf Day In June

Good morning and happy Sunday. Well we're another month nearer Christmas, it doesn't seem like two minutes since I was sharing my last Christmas card. I must admit I do like a bit of a prompt when I have cards to make, so when I saw that Happy Little Crafters had a 'trees' challenge I was very happy to go along with that.

So we have Dylusion papers and stamps, fussy cutting (yawn) and glitter.

This is the stamp, I've just stamped and chopped the layers, and coloured with Paper Artsy paints.

I'm really pleased that I've made a card each month this year though I know some people will have made hundreds by now. In fact I must have enough stamps and papers to make a thousand without repeating myself. Don't tell Neil but I've already bought more of both for this year lol.

Have a great weekend, and thanks very much for looking x

Merry And Bright

Good morning and happy Rudolph Day. It's only 7 months to Christmas lol, so in preparation for the big day, here's a card that I've made.

I started by making a backing sheet with lots of paints, stencils, and some stamps.  I liked it but it was far too busy for a background.

So I die cut it with my trusty Tim Holtz Christmas dies.

I made a new background with Tim's stamps and Distress Oxides.

The die cut is from a Tim Holtz set.

I'm entering this into the Simon Say Stamp Wednesday  challenge Furry Friends, and also the Happy Little Stampers Christmas challenge.

Thank very much for looking, and have a fun day xx
