Walk Like An Egyptian

Good afternoon and a very happy Sunday. Here I am with my second blog post of the day/week/month! It's been such a long time since I've blogged, but I've got a perfect excuse. My son got married in Tenerife earlier this month (it seems so long ago now). He did the legal bit in June - (which is why I needed two new dresses) and it was a fabulous day/weekend/week of fun and partying.  But all good things must come to an end, and we're all safely home.

For my 2nd Relatively Thoughtful project this month I've made a Double Z fold card with the beautiful Egyptian Dreams collection.

These are such simple cards to make, but I think they look really effective, especially when you have such gorgeous papers.

I started by choosing my papers and making my base card. The worst part was knowing that some of the papers would be covered up.

Everything was designed around showing off these beautiful cat images!

These are going to be my main images.

Here kitty kitty!

He's looking rather regal, isn't he!

This is how the Double Z fits together. Isn't this scarab beetle fabulous!

As always the collection is available in the store in both digital and A4 formats

  1. Belated wedding congrats for your son ... and yes, I can quite understand the need for two new dresses :)

I do like the Egyptian theme card here.

    All the best Jan
