Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing one of my favourite things to make, which is a concertina card.
These are great when you have loads of images you want to use. You don't have to choose, you just use them all! These are all from the beautiful Relatively Thoughtful Art Deco Cutting Pages.
I started by cutting out all the images and trimming them to the same size. Then I die-cut mats for them all and stuck them down.
All of these are now 4x4 so that makes it really easy to make the base card.
I need 1/8 of an inch all around the image, so the base card is cut (and stuck together) at 4 1/4 inches. It's then scored at 4 1/4, 8 1/2, 12 3/4, 17 inches, and then cut at 21 1/4. This gives me 5 sides, so room for 10 images.
This is a fabulous Funky Fosill sentiment stamp that I've embossed in gold. It's too big as it is, so I've chopped it up!
And this is the other side! Again I've added stamped sentiments and images and a fabulous Sue Wilson die cut.
These fabulous Art Deco Cutting Pages can be found here in the Relatively Thoughtful store.
And there is a great selection of Sue Wilson dies here too.

As always, fantastic! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThe title speaks for itself Sue, fabulous concertina card and those days gone by images are so lovely. That roaring die cut really is brilliant very well matched. Love as always the stitchery... my poor machine needs an MOT as it keeps running backwards, a bit like me getting nowhere hee hee!!
ReplyDeleteHappy BH Hugs Tracey xx
