Good morning Happy Friday, and happy December! Yes it's nearly Christmas and of course I'm massively behind with my preparations, - well it wouldn't be Christmas otherwise! The new challenge over at Country View Crafts is Christmas with an option of red, green, and rust, so I've taken the opportunity to make some gift tags.
I started by taking 3 manila tags and scraped them with Amsterdam acrylics.
Next I added some stencilling with White Linen Dylusions spray ink.
Time to stamp now, I used Tim Holtz Christmas stamps, and Ranger Archival ink with clear embossing powder to give a glossy look.
Next I added some Frantage rust.
They've been embellished with Tim Holtz Christmas Quote Chips, Thinlits, Bigz Dies, and On The Edge dies. I've had some of these for many years, and some for only a couple of weeks, but everything works so well together. Tim Holtz is VERY clever!
I'm sure you're all in full swing for Christmas (if not, why not), so please share your makes with us for the chance to win £20.00 to spend in the store.
I'm also entering my tags into the challenges at A Vintage Journey - Winter Wonderland, and Craft Stamper TIMI Anything Goes.
Have a very happy weekend, and thanks very much for looking x

I do love me a trio! The white stamping looks great over the rusty backgrounds, and those tiny deer are fast joining the older versions as some of my favourite dies of all time!

And welcome to my world of being ridiculously behind with Christmas preparations! I'm usually 'ready' for Christmas by New Years! Merry Christmas to you and yours! Hugs!
