I've used glossy card and alcohol inks for the background.
Then I stamped Spray Webbing and embossed in white.
For my borders I've used Diamonds and Dominos.
I've paper pieced the middle guy from 3 Waiters and given him a hat from the Party Hats 2 set.
The sentiment is one of Carmen's Veranda clear stamps.
I've really enjoyed my play with border stamps this month, and of course they're not just for borders, I made a fab (if I do say so myself) background with the numbers here.

Hi, Sue! It's been a while, but I have been lurking. Life is finally slowing down and I am able to spend some time commenting again on a few of my favorite blogs. First, I love both the focal image and the sentiment, but the fact that they pair so perfectly is outstanding (pun intended)! Speaking of pairing perfectly, you and Lost Coast Designs are a good pair, too!
ReplyDeleteAww Kay it's good to hear from you again, I'm glad that life is slowing down a little. I hope that you're still doing your art when you get the chance xx
