The Gothic Arch Challenge this time is Flown The Nest.
I've done an image transfer onto some sticky backed canvas for the birds eggs, and the Tin Holtz bird has been stamped onto tissue paper. The William Blake quote is a TPC stamp. My little eggs have been stamped onto glossy alcohol inked card and stuck down. They look a bit bright in the photograph, and I would love to see the bird that came out of the red eggs, but everything needs a splash of colour - well it does in my world lol.
I really enjoyed making this - just need to tidy up now!
Thanks very much for looking x
Lovely arch, great shape - lol re the bird that laid the red eggs!!

He, he - I think it would be interesting to see all the birds from eggs as bright as that, but it's a lovely piece. I keep forgetting about the canvas technique - I was given some for helping out on a stand at a show over a year ago and still haven't used it - duh! One of my fave birds, too x

Gorgeous arch, Sue. Those eggs remind me of those speckled egg sweets you get in a bag (made of sugar?)
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Sue!
ReplyDeleteI love the shape of your arch. I'm another one who instantly thought of chocolate mini eggs when I saw your colourful eggs.
