It' s week 2 over at Grungy Mondays, at Studio L3, and this time we have to use Multi Medium as a mask just like wot Tim does! The stamps are bright purple foam cut from Tim's new small butterfly die and stuck onto the packaging they came in :o). One's a bit crinkly now 'cos I forgot to move it when I started with the heat gun doh!
The base is a Tim (there's a pattern emerging) die on mountboart. My poor Cuttlebug is struggling now, I think I NEED a Vagabond to help him out (in my dreams - groan on Bug)
The background is a Wendy Vecci stamp and I've stamped the multi medium over this. I've then used yellow, orange and green distress inks over the top.
I've used a Stampotique butterfly and sentiment and an old clear stamp butterfly that I've had for ages, and given them all a good coating of distress stickles. I've stuck the old pen nib on for artistic effect lol
Do you see the stitching around the Papilon - yeah well I did that! This is definitely as far as my stitching abilities go.
I'm also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp & Show challenge as this is 'Anything But A Card' and mine is a hanging thingy!
Thanks very much for looking and have a fab weekend x

Fabulous hangy thingy Sue, and I have to ask, where did you get your butterflies from, didn't think they'd landed over here yet - please spill the beans!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhat a stunner, Sue! You did such a great job with the GM02 resist technique, and the colors are gorgeous. I love, love, LOVE those butterflies!
ReplyDeleteI think you need a Vagabond, too. Think of it as a way to preserve your wrists for many happy years of die cutting pleasure. ;-)
