Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. I'm back home today (well late last night actually) from a very happy few days in Blackpool celebrating my husband's, daughter's and her partner's birthdays which all fall within a few days of each other.
I'm over at the Ink Art Designs Stamping Playground with a Katzelkraft card that I've made for her as she is a great meerkat fan.
Now everyone in the UK loves meerkats, it's the law! I used to be team Aleksandr, but my heart now belongs to Sergei (even though he does have flees!) Because of this, it was a no brainer that these stamps would have to come and live with me
I started by making a background for my card by using a set of the Katzelkraft sentiments.
Then I cut out some squares, stamped my Meerkats, and coloured it all in.
I wanted them to look like they were Polaroid photos, so I backed them onto bigger pieces of card and stamped the sentiments.
The hardest part was sticking down my Kats without covering them up 'cos they're far too cute!
These are the fab stamp sets that I've used, and of course, they can be found here in Dot's store. I hope you like my card, it certainly was fun to make.
Have a very happy day whatever you're doing, and thanks so much for looking x
I love the Meerkats too Sue. They are so much fun!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea making all the 'photos', and the camera is a great finishing touch.

Glad you had a fun time in Blackpool, I haven't been there since 1969! Your meerkat piece is fabulous, the images are such fun! Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteMeerkats sure do know how to relax, that's for sure. I love them both but the babies are really adorable too (although they don't get shown much these days). I love how you mounted them and the camera is such a good idea too.
ReplyDeleteKeep safe and well. Hugs, Anne xx
I love Meerkats but love Katzelkraft stamps even more they are so quirky. Great card too. Hugs, Angela xXx
