A Couple of Cuties

Good morning and a very happy Sunday.

Today I'm sharing a couple of cards that I made with the fabulous 'The Magic of Childhood' collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

I made these using a design by Paul Ford in his Papercrafting With Paul group. They are for his Multi Make challenges and are so simple to do, but look wonderful in these papers.

The collection has some great cut-apart pages and tons of sentiments either in pink or blue, or white that you can colour yourself.

These teddies are so sweet, and I think they look very dapper with their button bow ties!

The collection is available here.

Over The Edge

Good morning and a very happy Saturday! Today I'm over at Lost Coast Designs with the second of my cards for our funny/cute challenge.

I started by cutting my layers for the card so that I knew how much room I had to play with. Then I stamped my Cat Border across the top and embossed in black.

I just love this cat! My first kitten was white so this just reminds me of her (it also makes it very easy to colour lol)

These are my lovely stamps, I've used

I hope you join in with our fun (or cute) challenge. Please remember we are a stamping challenge so this must be the focus of your entry. Don't forget there are Lost Coast $'s to be won!
Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

Fallen Off The Wagon

Good morning and a very happy Wednesday. As always the 15th of the month is always time for a new challenge over at the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity, and today's is Funny or Cute. Here's my card

If you replace twinkies with chocolate you have the story of my life!

I love this 50's lady and always enjoy using her.

I must admit I'm not really sure what a Twinkie is, but I do get the idea lol.

And you can't mention cake without a picture of a cake!

These are my lovely stamps. I've used

50's Girl

Cake Mona

Twinkies

Smell Cake

This was great fun to make, and I hope that you join in too. Remember there are Lost Coast dollars up for grabs.

Have a very happy week, and thanks so much for looking x

The Magic of Childhood

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Today I'm really happy to be sharing a mini album made with the beautiful new Relatively Thoughtful The Magic Of Childhood papers.

I just love this rocking horse from the cut-apart sheet.

I followed a Clare Charvill tutorial to make the album, and she showed us how to make signatures.

There's lots of room to add photos or journaling.

Who's that cutie hiding in the pocket?

Yes it's me, I'm old enough to be a black and white baby lol.

Luckily my two cuties are in colour. Do NOT tell them that I've shared this photo lol.

The collection can be found here

I hope you like my album, and thanks so much for looking x

A Jane Notebook For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. I've been playing with the Jane Austen Spring Collection from Relatively Thoughtful and I've decorated a notebook.

These papers are so beautiful, and the fussy cut elements make great accents.

This is the inside cover.

And some of the cut out postcards.

A couple of close-ups.

The collection can be found here in the
store.

Have a very happy Sunday, and thanks so much for looking x

Put The Lime In The Coconut

Good morning and a very happy Saturday. Today I'm over at the Lost Coast Portal To Creativity with my project for our fun Tropical challenge.

I started by making my background on a piece of speciality card.
Then I stamped and coloured my fun Carmen's Veranda cow. I couldn't help but smile as I was colouring her in!

Then I added my typed sentiment to my dancing Mooranda's

These are my fun stamps. I've used
I hope you like her, and that you play along with our fun challenge. As always there are Lost Coast dollars to be won.

Have a very happy weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

Cosmos Album Part 2 For Country View Crafts

Good morning and a very happy Friday. Today I'm sharing a couple of pages from my Cosmos Album for our latest Seeing Stars challenge at Country View Crafts. I followed a brilliant tutorial from the Scrap Queen, who is one of my very favourite mini-album makers. Please note that anything good about my pages is totally down to her, and all the mistakes are purely my own! They say you learn by your mistakes - I'll be a #**##* genius by the time I've finished this!

All of the pages are built out of the book and then added at the end. I really like this way as there's less chance of messing the whole thing up!

This is page one. It's made mostly with Cosmos papers, and there's also a little bit of First Edition North Star.

The page opens up for photo mats. They are all a little over 6x4 so just right for photos.

Then opens up again for more photo mats and a large pocket.

And this is page 2, using one of my favourite pages. Do you remember those mistakes that I was talking about? The inside was done first and then the pocket was added. In a moment of madness I didn't triple check the inside layout, and I added the bottom of the pocket to the top DOH! To be honest, I don't think it matters and it kind of takes the pressure off. It doesn't have to be perfect now.

This is the page opened up (and highlighting mistake no.2. I've put the small waterfalls in back to front - they start from the last picture rather than the first one!) Ok, swiftly moving on....

There's another 6x4 waterfall at the top, using one of my favourite pages again. There are also 2 photo mats that fit in the pockets.

The waterfall pictures have been mounted with acetate so that none of the lovely paper has been covered up.

All things Stamporia can be found here.

Also check out Scrap Queen's fabulous tutorials here.

There are 8 pages in the album, so only another 6 to go lol. I'm really enjoying making it but I want to take my time and (try to) get it right.

I hope you like my pages and join in with our challenge. Please remember that stars or astronomy must be the main focus of your pieces.

I hope you have a lovely Bank Holiday weekend, and thanks so much for looking x
