Too Cute To Spook!

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! I know it's only September, but it will soon be October, and that can only mean 2 things.

1) it's my birthday, and

2) it's nearly Halloween!

Don't you just love this cute and colourful collection from Relatively Thoughtful called Too Cute To Spook!

I've followed a tutorial from Paul Ford to make this fun floating gatefold card. I've just tweaked the size a little to make it bigger.
The best part is this folds flat and fits into a 7x7 envelope.

The 8x8 digital collection can be found here in Sally's store. There are backgrounds, tags, and cut-apart sheets, so everything you need for your projects.

You will need to add your own scary spiders though lol.
For daily inspiration please head over to our Facebook groups.

Have a fab day whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x

On Top Of The World

Good morning and a very happy Saturday. Today I'm sharing my second project for our 'Things With Wings' challenge over at Lost Coast Designs.

I started by stamping on black card and embossing with white embossing powder.

Then I dabbed different colours of Stazon over the top and wiped off any excess with an old towel.
Isn't this a beautiful stamp? She's been coloured with watercolour pens and then cut out.

And now she's on top of the world!

These are my fabulous stamps. I've used

I hope you like it, and that you join in with our challenge. Remember there a chance to win some Lost Coast $ for our lucky winner!
Take care and have a very happy day whatever you are doing x

Dreams At The Beach

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a couple of pages that I made for my Relatively Thoughtful journal.

I cut my base pages in black cardstock, then used the Dreams at the Beach collection for my layers.

This page has been totally made with the collection, from the striped background to the postcard, tag, and sentiment from the cut-apart sheets.

And the best part is, if you use it all up you can just print it out again!

The digital collection can be found here.

And the paper collection is here in 6x6, 8x8, 12x12, and A4.

There's loads more inspiration using these and all of our other collections in our Facebook group.

PokeThe Day!

Good morning and a very happy Thursday. Today's the day for a fun new challenge over at Lost Coast Designs and this time around we would like to see Things With Wings.

I started by stamping my Doodle Circles stamp on a couple of pieces of designer paper then I cut some out and layered them up, and that was pretty much it!

These are my lovely stamps. I've used

This was a fun one to make and I'm sure you will enjoy joining in, so please get stamping your Things With Wings.

A Relatively Thoughtful Journal

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a journal that I made with the Relatively Thoughtful Dreams At The Beach collection.

This is available as an A4 digital download so I've printed my inside and outside covers onto canvas paper. Now it's very durable and won't tear.

This is the back cover. Again printed onto canvas and with one of the postcards that come with the collection.

These are the inside covers. I've made pockets with some of the papers.

There are also cut-apart sheets with quotes and borders.

And lots of lovely postcard (6x4) sized images.
The collections are available here in both digital and physical formats.

Take care and have a very happy day whatever you are doing x

Today's Mood!

Good morning and a very happy Tuesday! Our latest challenge over at Lost Coast Designs is to use at least 3 stamps. This is a really easy one for me as I always use loads of stamps - I just LOVE putting them all away again lol.

I started by making quite a bright background using distress inks, stencils, and lots of stamps and white embossing powder.

Then I nabbed a spot for my sentiment. It was also somewhere for my clown to stand on!
And these are my fun images! I love Pope Clown, he really looks like he knows how to have a good time!

Yep, I've definitely used at least 3 stamps lol. I've used

And we're all done!
I must admit I do like this one, and I've already got someone in mind for it.
I hope you join in with our challenge, and be sure to use at least 3 stamps.

Take care and have a very happy week xx

Welcoming Autumn

Good morning and a very happy Monday, I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Today I'm sharing my second project for the fun 'Season of Mists and Mellow Fruitfulness' challenge over at Country View Crafts, and this time I've made another postcard.

I started by making my background with lots of Distress Inks and AALL and Create stencils.

This fabulous Tracy Evans  AALL & Create stamp is really all the card needs.

I tried to use different coloured inks on different parts of the stamp, and I really like how it looks.

I re-stamped the pine cone and layered it up just to add a bit of contrast.

And I added some words just to finish it all off!

I hope you like it, and also that you join in with our challenge.

Take care, have a lovely week, and thanks so much for looking x

Under The Sea For Relatively Thoughtful

Good morning and a very happy Sunday. Well it may be technically Autumn now, but I would still love to visit the seaside. Here's a journal page that I've made using the Relatively Thoughtful Dreams At The Beach collection.

There's even a sneaky peak at one of the covers too.

The collection can be found here in Sally's store.

Take care and have a very happy day xx

Season Of Mists And Mellow Fruitfulness

Good morning and a very happy Thursday. It's time for a new challenge over at Country View Crafts, and this time Debs has chosen Season of Mists And Mellow Fruitfulness. Very poetic eh?

With this in mind, I've made a postcard using some mellow fruits!

I started by stamping the sunflower from the Katzelkraft Pumpkin Fields set and embossing it in white. Then I inked over with Distress Oxides and flicked, dried, and removed any excess ink.

Then I stamped and embossed the pumpkin pile, and some of the words.

To finish, I stamped and layered up the pumpkins and added some of the vine stamps.
I hope you join in with our fun challenge, and as always, there's a £20.00 gift certificate to be won.
Take care and have a very happy September xx
