Thriller

Good morning and happy Tuesday. As Halloween draws closer I've been having a play with my Visible Image stamps and monoliths and this is what I've made.

The monolith has been painted with black gesso. They are so smooth and paint beautifully. Then I've added some silver paint through a stencil, and stamped Rays of Light and covered with gilding flakes in gold and silver.
The blood is of course real... actually it's nail varnish - this is the closest I've got to wearing it for years although technically I do paint my nails quite often!
The varnish has been painted direct, and also on a Seth Apter die cut.

Time for Mr Bone Jangles to make an appearance. I couldn't manage jazz hands but I've given him a sparkly hat instead.

I've typed the words - I think it's time to change the ribbon on my old typewriter!

Mr B J has a sparkly base too with one of the smaller stamps from Rays of Light. This set is coming back in a couple of weeks with new additions including a fabulous 'Sparkle' sentiment.

This was great fun to make, not just because I love the smell of nail polish!
I'm entering this into the That's Crafty All of a Sparkle challenge,  Lost Coast Designs Scary or Weird,  Dream in Darkness anything goes except cute, and A Vintage Journey Make it Spooky.

You can find lots more Visible Image inspiration on our
Facebook page where your can join in with our 'show and tell' for the chance to win £25.00 to spend in the shop.

Thanks very much for looking, and have a great week x

  13. I love those drips, Sue! I tried nail polish one time for my "real" blood but used a gel polish without the base!! It never ever dried so my craft room had bits of red everywhere! Mostly on me! Love the monolith the sparkles and of course, Seth's products! Thanks so much for joining us at Dream in Darkness this month! Nan, CT
