Be Unique
Good evening and happy Wednesday. I know it's late but I've had one of those 'can't be arsed' days and I'm really mad with myself now because I've got nothing done! Hey ho, tomorrow's another day...
The challenge over at PaperArtsy is Resin and UTEE. I don't have any resin, but this is what I've made with my UTEE.
The main stamp is Lynne Perrella 030 which I stamped onto kraft that had gesso brayered over. I then stamped again on white and embossed in blue and then clear UTEE. The tiles really didn't want to stick down, so I ended up sewing them. It's the first time I've sewn in a straight line for ages!
I really enjoyed making this, and it was good to dig out the UTEE. Have a great week, and thanks very much for looking x
Oooh what a fabulous idea, it looks stunning and the blue and red really pop xx
ReplyDeleteWow that's stunning Sue....as for those type of days, everyday is like that for me ;)

You make me laugh Sue, and I love what you have created! Xx
ReplyDeleteSimply stunning, Sue. The blue and white tiles really sing against the gorgeous textured neutrals of the background and then the pop of that red heart - my favourite ever use of that stamp anywhere, I think. Just lovely.

Sue I do love this.. your colour choices are spot on! Don't beat yourself up regarding your can't be arsed day *WE* all deserve one every now & then.. Hugs Tracey xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful creation, Sue! Great color combo (that red heart really pops!). To me, you have always been the Queen of Stitching and I miss it when it's not there.
