This is a piece of thick chipboard slightly larger than A4. I wanted to make my own art journal so this is the front cover - there's nothing to go in it yet lol.
It's all made with Deco Art paints and mediums, and Andy Skinner stencils, stamps, and techniques.
We have rusted modeling paste.
Some stamping and crackling.
I really enjoyed the peeled paper technique.
I spent hours doing this, it was such fun and I just kept on adding bits - due to the highlights (repeats) of the rugby, no-one noticed!
My blogging friend Rachel is hosting the challenge at Stamps and Stencils so I'm entering this over there.
Have a wonderful week, and thanks very much for looking x
Grinning all over Sue! It's the same here, Rugby is king! but it keeps them quiet....well most of the time! This is going to make a great cover for your journal. Have a great crafty week, Angela xXx

Fabulous layers and textures Sue, can't wait to see what you put inside! Deb xo
ReplyDeleteThat was me today, Sue, as my husband traveled 2-1/2 hours (one way) to watch the Superbowl with a friend! Thank goodness the New England Patriots won, as he then had to travel back home! That gave me approximately 9 hours of studio time to play! hehe Not sure any of my projects compare to the great one you have created! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got some play time Sue...long live rugby! Your journal cover is brillaint...such great colours and textures. Looking forward to seeing what goes inside xxx
ReplyDeleteA really terrific piece Sue with such wonderful colours and textures. Even crafting couldn't tempt me awsy from the rugby matches :)

Really wonderful Sue - loving the loose style! xxx
ReplyDeleteOMG I so LOVE this. Simply awesome! Not long into mixed media and I love the mess lol. Our footy starts in a few weeks but since I am a fan I won't be in my play station while it is on - well some of the time I will just not when my favourite teams play.
ReplyDeleteI just love these cool stencils and your gorgeous rust effect! Looks like a lot of fun indeed! Thank you so much for sharing with us at Stamps & Stencils. Hugs, Autumn
