Daring Ideas...

This week Suzanne Czosek is the guest designer at Paper Artsy and she has challenged us to use metal.
I started by painting and stamping and distressing my arch, then covering most of it up with the metal lol. The PA metal on card stamps so nicely, and I love not having to back it up first. I stamped and clear embossed the stamps from Ink And The Dog, Clocks 1, and Squiggly Ink Crowns & Castles 4, then painted with Sky, Beach Hut and Limelight. I then sanded back in places to let the silver come back through and I'm really pleased with the result.

I just need to set up a standing order to Paper Artsy Towers then they can drip feed me Fresco Paints, and stamps, and paper, and more stamps and.... hey, this is my hobby and no-one ever died of too much rubber or paint whereas jogging is really bad for the joints :-) That's my excuse and I'm sticking firmly to it.
Thanks very much for looking xx

  1. ditto on the fresco Paint, I seem to use it on everything. I had a bit of a Discussion!!! with my local CS as they don't stock it, they stock other paints but not this. The said they made the decision not to stock it as they felt it was just another paint and there would be no call for it..Dahh. I pointed out their mistake lol
I love your arch. I don't have any of the pA metal, is it very different to the ten seconds one. ??

  3. Love the blues and greens on your metal piece! No contest between crafting and jogging but I'm not sure Roni's hairspray and heat gun technique is that healthy!!

  16. LOL totally with you on the "drip feed" of paints and a girl can never have too much rubber especially of the PA kind. I think the Squiggly Ink images are fab on this wooden frame .... a very underused stamp collection IMO.
