Rolodex Cards for Rubber Dance

Good morning and happy Wednesday. Rubber Dance have a fun new colour/theme challenge for February, and here's what I've made.

And here is the inspiration board.

I started by making my background with Distress Inks and Oxides using the above colours.
Then I chopped it up to make my rolodex cards. I know it's something you have to do, but I still hate chopping up a nice background lol.
The background has been stamped with images from Crazy Flowers 2, and the main image and sentiment is Merry Magpie.

I hope that you like them, and that you join in with our challenge over at the Rubber Dance Stamping Lounge.
I'm also joining in with the challenges at Simon Says Stamp Monday - Add Some Red,
Craft Stamper TIMI February Anything Goes,
Fashionable Stamping Anything Goes, and
Stamping Sensations - All Things Bright and Beautiful
Have a very happy week, and thanks for looking x

  1. These are absolutely gorgeous, Sue. Do you display them in a rolodex? Have a great day, hugs, Valerie

    1. Thank you Valerie, yes they are in a rolodex, but it's only about 10% full so they just dangle at the bottom at the moment lol x

  2. These are great - I love the masterboard background, and it looks somehow so different with each different stamp. Very cool. I don't think you'll regret the Organic purchase - it really is a gorgeous die, and once you start cutting it up, there are lots of possibilities!

  3. Oh yes, I do like them, the background is beautiful and those owls are just so cute. I know what you mean about chopping up backgrounds but I think you have enhanced them with your toppings and those fabulous quotes! Hugs, Anne xx

  14. That's a great masterboard Sue, the colour theme is fab.. I have an obsession with anything grey, you wouldn't think it as I hated school.. The rolerdex is a great way to showcase those RD stamps, when you eventually fill it you MUST show it..
Hugs for the weekend Tracey xx
