My slide mailers are a little bit like buses, non for ages, then two come along together.
I have load of pictures, but I'll keep the words to a minimum :-)
All the paints and mediums are from the DecoArt Media range
I started by painting my slide mailer with Carbon Black fluid acrylic, then when dry, going over with Quinacridone Gold to give the rust colour.
I stencilled DA Silver , then another coat of quin gold.
Next I stamped an Andy Skinner stamp all over the mailer to give it some texture, and also on some copper tape 'cos it was too shiny (I know, I didn't think you could be too shiny!)
My slides have been stamped with Andy Skinner and Paper Artsy stamps. I love the new Blueprint Sketch ink - now that's blue!
The 'rust' has been added with DA Texture Sand.
The front is a stamp from the Tim Holtz Time Traveller set.
The inside is a couple of old Scrollsworks stamps.
This is the inside
Alfred Hitchcock guy on the back is another PaperArtsy stamp.
And the outside covers.
So there it is, no more photo's (phew)
Thank you to everyone who entered my 'Make Your Own Background' challenge last month, and I hope you join in again this month to celebrate our birthday.
Have a wonderful March, and thanks very much for looking x
BIG WOW! Hugs, Valerie
