The background has been made with lots of DecoArt paints and an Andy Skinner stencil.
The lady is a Dina Wakley stamp, and I drew the hat myself woo-hoo. It's my handwriting too - now you know why I don't normally show this.
Warning is one of my favourite poems, and I really love some of the ideas. I wont be wearing purple though as I've worn it for the last 10 years as my work uniform, but I shall definitely hang around supermarkets at lunch time lol.
Hope you like it, and thanks very much for looking x
Lovely work, great colours. Love the stencil you used. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteBrilliant and just the sort of thing that I do with the bright pink and purple.. I think this maybe sums me up except it should be 'now' I am an old woman :)

What fun, Sue - one of my favourite quotes and terrific colour!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Sue, love the hat and your handwriting is lovely, you should write on your projects more often! Perhaps you can wear pink with chartreuse stripes when you get old, it would be equally as striking as purple and red!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes... it's a poem of genius, and you've created a wonderful piece around it, Sue. I'm sure you can find an equally outrageous colour to be seen in!
