It's been ages since I've had a play with my Wendy Vecchi stamps, so I've put that right today.
I started by painting my plaque and stamping with various background stamps.
Next came some stencilling with Fresco paints.
The sentiment was stamped and embossed (a little too near the bottom lol)
Then the fun began making the flowers and leaves. I tried Wendy's archival re-inker technique.
I like this very much and will definitely try it again.
I'm entering this into the Country View Crafts challenge which this month is New Beginnings.
Hope you like it, and thanks very much for looking x
Fab make Sue, loads to look at and great how those backgrounds evolve isn't it xxx

ReplyDeleteIt's a very beautiful plaque Sue, very springlike, love it!! Hugs, have a super week-end. Coco xx
ReplyDeleteYour hanging is really pretty, Sue. Another gray day in Boston (where Spring just can't seem to make a consistent appearance), so the cheeriness of your project made me happy. These are definitely my kind of flowers (they don't need to be watered), and the quote is perfect. I love Wendy's reinker technique as each piece is an original! Way to go!
ReplyDeleteSue, it is gorgeous.
