Howl At The Moon

Good morning and happy Sunday - woohoo it's December! Today we're travelling down to Devon for our last holiday of the year, I could really get used to this retirement lark. For our new challenge at Country View Crafts the lovely Evelyn has chosen 'Stars', so here's what I've made.

For this I've used the beautiful Cosmos papers from Stamperia. I'm a little bit upset that I've had to use them, but I'm seriously thinking that my New Years resolution will be to stop saving things for 'best' I'm going to have to live to at least 150 to wear all my 'best' clothes, use my 'best' perfume and don't get me started on my craft stash!

I started by creating a frame using a Crafter's Companion die set. Blimey it looked so easy on the video, not so much in real life, but I'm sure it will get easier with practise.

Aren't these Stamperia papers gorgeous!

There's a couple of lovely pages that are just full of tags, and they're so easy to cut out 'cos there's another tag on the other side.

You can't really tell here, but I've given these a couple of coats of sparkly Mod Podge.

And we're all done! It was fun to make, but I definitely need to practise these frames. Have a very happy December, and thanks so much for looking xx
