Good morning, happy Wednesday, and welcome to May. It's time for a new challenge over at Country View Crafts and this one should get you thinking, it's 'Opposites'
In case you can't tell I've gone for colour and black and white.
I started by choosing some AALL & Create stamps that I thought would look ok in colour and black and white.
I cut a couple of tags and stamped these two and left them in black and white.
And I coloured this one with Distress Inks.

ReplyDeleteFabulous tags Sue using a great choice of stamps. They always look amazing with or without colour. The AALL & Create Designers are so clever.
ReplyDeleteGood to see you back Sue. Hope life's not treating you well??.
Sending Hugs your way Tracey xx
Very eye catching and a great take on the theme Sue...I too remember the huge old black and white TVs...more box than screen!! Happy May to you and yours xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful opposites Sue, and great stamps to show off your go on this challenge. The butterflies are beautifully painted and so happy a tag,- surely very opposite from the black/whites .
ReplyDeleteHugs, Dorthe
Love you tags - great interpretation!! Have a lovely evening xx
ReplyDeleteLove your tags - wonderful interpretation
ReplyDeleteThe tags are beautiful Sue and you really chose some great ones for the black and white, and the butterflies look gorgeous! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteI think I'm probably even worse than you for trying to keep up with people at the moment, so thank you for your visit! Love the idea of this theme, and I love your take on it here... those fabulously detailed stamps are so cool just as they are, but then your vivid butterflies come zinging to life in the middle - fab!

Great interpretation of the opposite theme, Sue!!! Fabulous tags!!! Big hugs!!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic idea for the opposite!!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat tags, I love your middle one with the butterflies and beautiful colours, a gorgeous trio Sue!
Hugs and happy May to you too

PS: Could you check your spams to confirm your subscription to my new site?? not finalized for most of my friends, so I suspect this is the reason! :(
Such interesting stamps, Sue--readymade for tags!! Clever take in the "opposites" challenge. Strangely, I am drawn to the black and white tags, much as I am these days drawn to black and white photos!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fabulous project ! Love it !

Great way to showcase these yummy stamps... Works really well as a trio too!
ReplyDeleteGreat sample for your 'Opposites' theme. Nice to see those flutterbies used a different way, too. I used mine with another border, but not the ones you chose. Great colour!

Great idea for the challenge theme, dear Sue! I love your tags, the black and white ones are great, but the colored one in the middle is a real stunner.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful May!
