Good evening and happy Saturday. Well the World Cup is in full swing - and it's nice and sunny for garden chores. Now I don't watch much football, or do many garden chores, but it does mean that once we've been to the gym for our swim no-one notices if I slip away into my craft room for the rest of the day. I do come out for food, just in case you were worrying that I would waste away ;-) One of my New Year resolutions was to ink up any new stamps soon after I got them rather than just letting them die of neglect, so this is what I've made.
I started by collaging some of the Art By Marlene papers by Studio Light onto my giant MDF tag. The flowers are in black and white, so I've coloured them with watercolour pens.
I've also watercoloured my lovely lady
Then just added her to my tag, along with a bit of glitter and a sentiment.
I'm entering her into the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge which is Bright and Beautiful, and the Craft Stamper TIMI June challenge.
Have a very happy weekend, and thanks very much for looking x

DeleteHa, ha Sue, I was going to ask you where you got that image of me from and then I realised that she has wings and I certainly don't have a pair of those!! LOVE your tag! Such fun! Hugs, Anne xx
ReplyDeleteLol Anne, this could be me except she has better make up than I ever have! xx
DeleteBright and beautiful with just a bit of attitude, that is what she is! Love your background, Sue, and what a great way to use up those scraps. The strange thing is that you have created a very busy background which should command Center Stage, yet your lady has it all going on! Nicely done, my friend!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Kay! xx
