Good Morning, and welcome to February. It's now officially the month of romance and all things pink and flowery (shoot me now lol). It's also my turn to pick the theme at Country View Crafts and I would like you to make your own backgrounds. So no designer paper allowed I want the inks and the paints and all things messy :-)
I must admit I love making my own backgrounds, it really is my favourite part. Saying that I have hundreds (if not thousands) of sheets of designer papers.
I made my background with DecoArt Media Fluid Acrylics, a Brett Weldele stamp plate, and a Stampotique stamp.
I used the same paints through a stencil for the blood splatters.
I stamped my romantic zombie on watercolour paper and painted him with watercolours. I have to confess I'm not a zombie fan, I've never seen a film or a TV programme with them in, but I do like these stamps, a LOT.
So Zombie now in place...
I stencilled a red heart, then stamped the sentiment. This is about as romantic as I get!
I hope you can join in with our challenge - it doesn't have to be for Valentines, or feature zombies, just make your own background.
Thanks very much for looking, and have a great month x
What fun!Now I know why you love me - for my brains! Hugs, Valerie

ReplyDeleteI do not watch zombie films either but I do like the stamps - I think they are so funny and laughter to me is the best of medicines. Your background fantastic - the image a little on the spooky side and the "I love you for your brains" How long do you want me to laugh!!!!
