This week the challenge at Stampotique has been chosen by Gez , and she wants us to go with blues and browns.
I'm afraid I lost my step by step pictures when my old computer went to the big internet in the sky, but here's the finished card.
The flowers are a mix of white and kraft card that have been inked and stencilled, and a lot of white embossing.
The tag has been stamped onto Kraft, and the sentiment embossed.
I've used
Carol's Flower (large)
Carol's Flower (small) and
A Friend's Touch
This was great fun to make, I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed a colour challenge.
I hope you join in too, and thanks very much for looking x
Lovely work Sue! Hugs, Valerie

Wow, how beautiful!!! I love this card Sue, fabulous stamping and fussy cutting-out of all Carol's flowers (they remain among my favourites!), and the colours and whole design is just fab
ReplyDeleteHappy evenining to you dear, hugs xx
What a great card, Sue, although it's a shame you've had a computer failure in the process!
ReplyDeleteThere is something so classy and timeless about using blue and brown - I love that combination. Thank you for the comments on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to let you know about the Tim blueprint stamps I used. They were a celebration of STAMPtember, Tim Holtz created a limited edition set for Simon Says Stamps, they have done this before (they usually sell out very quickly). So happy I won them and will use them a lot! Have a great weekend Karen x
This is so beautiful Sue I love it. Wishing you a lovely weekend xx
