.... how long would it take to dig your way to Harrogate??? was the question posed to me at 6.10 this morning. I know, ten past six on a non working Saturday!! but I should have been going to Art From The Heart to take a taster session with the wonderful Michelle Webb. We dug my little car out (yeah he really is that small but he's brilliant in snow) but there's no way I'm setting out in this. I'm really disappointed 'cos I was so looking forward to going, but never mind I can iron instead (that is soooo not going to happen)
Anyhow here's the tag that I made last night after drooling over Linda's over at PaperArtsy. I had to improvise a bit with the house, and I've used stamps from I&TD Pierrot plates 1&2 and Backgrounds 3. I don't know if I've ever mentioned how much I love the translucent Fresco paints :-)
I'm also entering this into the Country View Craft's challenge which is pick and mix (and one of my favourite places to shop)
Thanks very much for looking, enjoy the snow, and Jenson to win the Grand Prix! xx
Wouldn't think spring was here... Shame about your class. Great background and great choice of stamps !
ReplyDeleteLovely tag, and sorry you couldn't go to your course! Here is no snow today, but extremely cold and an icy east wind blowing from Siberia, so I'm staying home too! Enjoy your day and keep warm, Valerie
ReplyDeleteStarting to think Spring will never be here!!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tag Sue, great colours & stamping! xx
Love that wee red car, but not sure I would fit inside of it! Love your fun tag, too, Sue! While the images are cute and the clown hats to-die-for, I am most enamored today of your color blending and the oh-so-sweet ribbon on the top!! Sorry you missed your class! Bummer!
ReplyDeleteAww what a shame you couldn't go Sue, but like you say it's disappointing but really not worth the risk!!
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, take pleasure in the fact that you've made me spend some money today. I clicked on your crafy emblies candy logo and hey stuff just fell into my basket!! Bit niffed that the postage was mores than the goods, but then the stuff is cheap, got some BOGOF and there is also 25% discount if you use the word SNOW which seemed quite appropriate!!! So thanks for that!!
Hope you have a good day with your ironing (NOT)!!!

this snow is stopping a lot of people travelling. I wanted to go to a local craft show today, but it was cancelled because of the snow.... Loving your terrific tag Sue. Hugs Annette x

This is definitely next best thing - such a shame you couldn't get to AFTH but what a great tag.
ReplyDeleteOh what a shame you couldn't make the trip to work with Michelle - her stuff's amazing! But so's your tag - wow! Stay warm... and never mind the ironing: the clothes only get creased again...
ReplyDeleteAlison x
Oh what a shame you couldn't make it. Love your tag though - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteMy poor Sue, I understand your disappointment !! I'm really sorry for you... I thought snow had decided to go away everywhere in France and UK...? Seems that not yet !
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your tag is so beautifully done that it would have been really a pity to not do it !!! Coco xxx (hope my english is correct !)
