This is in my Moleskine, and hurrah I've got past page 1 and it's all still intact. The background has been made with Pan Pastels, using just 3 colours 'cos I havn't got many. The old me would have put a 'yet' on the end of that, but having looked round a Uni with my youngest on Saturday I'm on such a spending ban, and I think I really mean it this time. Not only will he come out of it thousands in debt, but Neil and I may have to sell body parts too!!
Anyhoo, I've used my new Stampotique Alice stamps on this (don't get me started on how long it took Parcelforce to deliver these) lots of stencils for the flowers and leaves, and Pink Paislee rub on's for the silvery bits.
I'm entering this into the following challenges
The Altered Alice - Splendidly Dressed
Stampotique - Oodles of Doodles
Pan Pastels - Add A Flower
Thanks very much for looking x
Fabulous pages Sue and you don't need many colours to achieve great effects with the PPs, a great job.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to the PanPastel UK challenge this week.

Wonderful work - love the humour in it and you did well with three colours, lol. I'm resisting, up to now and swearing I'll use up what I have before I buy any new medium - we'll see. I feel for you re the Uni - it's getting so tough to give our kids an education!! Best of luck with your resolution :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back, hopefully still with all body parts intact! Great pages, too! Valerie
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pages Sue, love love your background and great humour too. Lovely. Tracy x
ReplyDeleteFabulous! Love the pages you have created. I have so far resisted pan pastels. My head is saying too expensive but I drool over them on the net frequently! 3 colours might be a good idea...
ReplyDeleteFantastic page Sue, love all the doodling! Going on the uni trail with my little girl this year too, good luck!

ReplyDeleteLooking great! Lovely background and LO. And yes, it is hard with children in that age - very expensive. We can only give them what we have and can give and hope that they make the best out of it. Good luck! ( and yes, I love to work with PP aswell...)Lena
ReplyDeleteWonderful journal page and yes it's expensive when they do the uni thing - 3 of ours done it, 1 in Findlay year and last one going in a year. They keep coming home too between jobs...
ReplyDeleteLOVE THIS PAGE ( I have to get used to the new blogger too, have some trouble finding out were things are now ;-) )
ReplyDeleteFabulous pages as always Sue. Isn't Alice great!
