Can I Have A Blue Peter Badge Please?

I got these Paper Artsy stamps before Christmas, and I've finally inked 'em up. The Stampman has a Distress challenge, and Big Bird has been distressed to within an inch of her life. In true Blue Peter style I started with a toilet roll tube and painted it with Eco Green paint in green patina.
The base is a beer mat that I stamped and tripple embossed. Big Birds body(s) have been cut out of chipboard, and coloured with acrylic paints, then stamped with the bodies. I've added some silver metal to the smaller wings.Everything has been coloured with Distress Inks and bits and bobs of Tim Holtz hardware added, and the odd swirl with a white gel pen.To distress the old bird even more she's well coated in distress stickles in mustard seed and rock candy. My scissors now have a new place to live.
I'm also entering this into the  Artistic Stamper monthly challenge which this month is Things With Wings.
Thanks very much for looking x

  1. Fabulous work sure got use out of your stamps sometimes you just have to keep them innocent for a while before they tell us what to do. Will you make more holders for your pens and pencils? xoxo Zoe
