Walk Like An Egyptian

Good afternoon and a very happy Sunday. Here I am with my second blog post of the day/week/month! It's been such a long time since I've blogged, but I've got a perfect excuse. My son got married in Tenerife earlier this month (it seems so long ago now). He did the legal bit in June - (which is why I needed two new dresses) and it was a fabulous day/weekend/week of fun and partying.  But all good things must come to an end, and we're all safely home.

For my 2nd Relatively Thoughtful project this month I've made a Double Z fold card with the beautiful Egyptian Dreams collection.

These are such simple cards to make, but I think they look really effective, especially when you have such gorgeous papers.

I started by choosing my papers and making my base card. The worst part was knowing that some of the papers would be covered up.

Everything was designed around showing off these beautiful cat images!

These are going to be my main images.

Here kitty kitty!

He's looking rather regal, isn't he!

This is how the Double Z fits together. Isn't this scarab beetle fabulous!

As always the collection is available in the store in both digital and A4 formats

The Greatest Show On Earth

Good morning and a very happy Sunday! Today I'm sharing a tri-fold card made with the fun 'The Circus' collection from Relatively Thoughtful.

Each panel is 15x15cm so it fits into a 6x6 envelope.

I started by rough-cutting my focal points and deciding where I wanted them to go on the card.
Then I matted and layered them, adding some glossy Mod Podge to give them strength and a nice shine.
These are the papers that I chose for the panels.
And my favourite 'Happy Birthday' stamps fit perfectly onto the labels.
Here we are, all sewn up and done!
Isn't that elephant a stunner! The strong man is from the same cut-apart sheet.
I love the handsome ringmaster!
And what a beautiful horse!
Are you lookin' at me???
As always this is available in both digital and an A4 paper collection.

Have a lovely Bank Holiday Weekend whatever you are doing, and thanks so much for looking x
